When the little ones use their imagination it’s so much
fun to see. Sharingland is 100% about imagination. One of my close friends has
2 young children and just had a newborn a couple weeks ago, so this is perfect
for her. After looking at the options, we settled on the Windmill Farm Playhouse Kit.

Find Your Christmas Tree with Hammacher Schlemmer
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
Do you get a
real tree or an artificial one? For my family it’s an obvious choice. This is
because I am allergic to pine. I know, a bad allergy to have especially while
living in WI. My girls and I moved back to WI in the beginning of the year and
left a lot behind, so we needed a new tree for this Christmas. Hammacher
Schlemmer offered to send one for review. We decided on a prelit Noble Fir.

Day 16 Jesus Showed Compassion #LIGHTtheWORLD
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
I have always taught my children to show compassion, to help others, pay it forward so to speak. It’s easy to help family and friends, which we do a lot of. I also try and show them to reach out to strangers and do something nice, hold a door open smile. It doesn’t always have to involve money. Smiling at someone can improve their day more than we think.
There are so many different beliefs out there, and I respect them. This post is not intended to push anything onto you, but to share one viewpoint.

Febreze takes all those 12 Stinks of Christmas away
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
This review was made possible by iConnect and Febreze. I was provided compensation to facilitate this post, but all opinions stated are 100% mine.
I grew up in northern Wisconsin, and every year November and December looked and felt like Christmas time. Snow, cold, Christmas trees etc. Now fast forward a few years (a few?). I have moved to Arizona, and it’s my second Christmas. Not having snow, freezing weather, it’s just not the same. Luckily, Febreze has products to help me get back into the “smell” of Christmas. Not only that, but they help cover all those extra smells.

Win a Dog, Cat or Dinosaur Projection Alarm Clock
by:
Paige
My two boys love all things dinosaur, so when I heard about the Dinosaur Projection Alarm Clock, I knew we had to review it. This awesome stegosaur is perfect for my older son (he is 9) because we are starting to try and have him take more responsibility and wake up on his own and start getting ready for school. This clock matches his decked out dinosaur room so well and the prejector images are so cool and add such a neat touch to the clock.
Dinosaur Projection Alarm Clock • All Ages • $29.99This makes a dino-mite clock for kids who are fans of the stegosaurus and his mighty friends. Kids will enjoy the 4 prehistoric images as well as the digital time projected above their heads.

Paw-some ways to include pups in the holidays (and find out which states have the merriest dogs!)
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
Happy Howlidays!
I love the holiday season — the cold weather, the yummy food, and of course, all of the festivities! You know who else loves them too? My dog House, I'm thinking it may be because of all the extra lovin' and gifts he gets from the family.

Treetopia No 2 Pencil Artifial Christmas Tree
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
Let me just start by saying that my only choice for a Christmas tree is an artificial one. I am allergic to pine. Growing up in Northern Wisconsin in the middle of the woods was very difficult. What’s even worse is Christmas time. That’s because everyone has a real tree in their home. I am so allergic that just having a needle on me or smelling the tree (sap maybe) that I get migraines. Treetopia contacted me at the perfect time as our old tree broke (thanks to my dog) so we needed to get a new one anyway. So when they asked if they could send me one of their artificial trees, there was no way I was saying no.

Christmas Traditions Evolve over time
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
When I was a kid we used to travel the 4 hours to my dad’s on Christmas Eve then on Christmas Day we would drive back home and spend the day with my mom. That was the tradition for many years until it just became too much to do, with small children. I think traditions evolve over time and whatever works for you and your family is cool.

Drinks for the holiday from Sobieski and Blue Nectar
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
It’s the holiday season, and well there are going to be parties, and alcohol. I’m not a big drinker, but once in awhile I do like to have something. I was asked to try Blue Nectar Tequila and also Sobieski Vodka. Since I actually am a big fan of tequila, I really wanted to try it.

Merry Christmas
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
We thought we would share with you some of our
Christmas family traditions:
Paige:
“Our family has pizza on Christmas Eve every year
with my sister and her family. We also follow Santa on the NORAD tracker.”
Jamie:
“We stay the night with my in-laws on Christmas Eve
so we can all be together on Christmas morning. We also bake cookie on
Christmas Eve.”
Katrina:
“We all go to the Christmas Eve service at church to
watch Mya sing. After that we have a celebration with food and gifts with my
in-laws. On Christmas Day is just us, and the kids. We spend Christmas with my
parents and siblings before and after Christmas since everyone is all over the
place.”
Becky:
"Our family Christmas traditions
begin the day after Thanksgiving. We put up the tree and the following day our
elf, Wesley comes back. We have lots of little things we do during the season,
but the ones we started specifically after we had our first baby was to buy an
ornament to represent whatever each kid was into that year. This year, little C
has a Pac-man ornament and little D has a Spider-man ornament. And then on
Christmas Eve, we open the box that Wesley left us containing new pajamas for
each of us and the Night Before Christmas book. We all change into our new
jammies, bundle up and go look for Santa while checking out Christmas lights.
We come home, Daddy reads the book and we go to bed and attempt to sleep! And
speaking of sleep, Big A and I have both been staying awake all hours of the
night because -we- are too excited for Christmas!!!"
So from The Nurse Mommy family to
yours, we hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

Portable North Pole: Video from Santa
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
I’m sure you have seen the sites where you can personalize
a letter from Santa for your children. Portable North Pole has taken that
concept and magnified it. I was contacted to do a review on a few of their
products. I was more than happy to.
I was given a few products to look at. One was a
video from Santa. Once you purchase the video for a mere $3.99 you customize it
to fit your child. It asks you questions. For example, you start off with if
the child is nice, nice/naughty, or naughty. Then you go from there and put
what the child plays with etc. After you get to put up to 5 pictures of them
showing parts of their lives over the course of the past year. One of my
favorite parts is putting friend’s names. This is so when Santa’s elf goes to
get the book; their friends have books too with their name on it.
After you have it all finished you can watch the
video to make sure everything is correct, then you have the option to download
it into a mp4 file. This costs an additional $6.99 but to me it’s worth it
since you have it forever then, and you can share it however you want.
