SwimWays 5th Annual National Learn to Swim Day!
by:
Paige

This post was sponsored by SwimWays as part of an Activation for Influence Central. I received products to facilitate my review.
SwimWays is one of the better known names in infant and kids swim safety items so I was thrilled to receive the cute Spring Float Sun Canopy for the princess! We actually have a blue one from my son, which we loved and used all of the time, but I do love having a girly one for my girl! Using the Canopy Float was actually the first time the princess has been in the water. She was born in October, so it is just now getting warm enough to enjoy the pools. She seemed right at home and perfectly comfortable in this, and took right to it! I personally love it, because this float seems much sturdier than other baby floats I have seen, and I can speak from knowledge that they hold up better! As I said, we still have the one my son used three years ago, and it is in perfect shape!! Using the float allows my daughter to feel safe and protected in the water, and also protects her from the blazing sun. I love how easy it is to fold back up into the storage bag for travel! As you can tell from her smiling face she is completely happy to be in the water with her float sun canopy. I love this device for two very important reasons! The first is because it offers more stability for my little girl than any other baby float we have had, and the second is the canopy. This canopy adds more protection from the sun then the typical plastic baby sun canopy floats do! The SwimWays Baby Spring Float is the single best float on the market today; it’s the perfect product to introduce baby to the water for the first time.

Vtech Safe & Sound Digital Audio Monitor
by:
Keikilani

There are few things more important to a mom than knowing that her babies are safe. These small little bundles of joy are so sweet and cuddly and sometimes drive you crazy, but you love them so much. And it is hard not be with them even during nap time!
Baby monitors have given me a run for my money in the past. They don't work. Or they don't last. Or they make weird screeching noises. Or my favorite...Pick up the neighbors down the street. (That is so weird!) I was thrilled to be able to try the Vtech Safe & Sound Digital Audio Monitor.

Vtech Safe&Sound Pan & Tilt Baby Monitor
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

VTech recently reached out and wanted me to take a look at their Safe&Sound Pan & Tilt Full Color Video Monitor. It was the perfect timing as the monitor I had been using broke and I wasn’t sure what I was going to replace it with.
With my oldest, I had a regular baby monitor, there wasn’t an option to get a video one yet. So when I had my youngest and had the option of a video monitor, I took it. I don’t think I could go back to one.
With VTech’s Safe&Sound You can pretty much start using it as soon as you get it out of the box. You can mount the camera to the wall or just sit it on a shelf (what I did). As long as you are within 1,000 feet of the camera you will be able to see your little one. You read that right, 1,000 feet.
The screen on the monitor seems small (2.8 inches), but in reality it’s not bad. I’m just used to looking at my way to big cell phone. It’s in full color and you use it to control the camera. I was happy to see that you can move the camera to zoom in, and to look around the room. It’s not in a fixed view.
Besides the zoom and pan feature, the one feature I like the most is that I can use it to talk to my daughter, not just listen. I can’t put her to bed most nights due to my health, so my husband or oldest daughter helps me. With the new monitor, I can see them and sing her “nah night song”. It’s not the same singing it to her in the living room, I’d much rather sing it with her as she’s being laid down. With the Safe&Sound I can do that.
You can also use up to 4 cameras with each parent unit (monitor). I think that’s cool as nobody wants to figure out which monitor goes with which camera and you also save buying just adding more cameras instead of buying the whole unit each time.
Features
- Temperature sensor
- Digital transmission
- Wall-mount bracket
- Vibrating sound-alert on the parent unit
- Rechargable battery with low-battery alert on the parent unit
- Zoom the camera from the parent unit
- 5-level sound indicator
- Volume control

Katrina Kroeplin

When it comes to my kid’s safety, I will do just about anything. Recently I was contacted by elph to try out their bracelets After seeing how they can help if your child is lost, I was all in. I was lucky that they sent me 2 bracelets, one for each of my girls.
