Halloween Home Decor from Party City

Halloween is such a fun time of year. I don’t know about you but for us it is. You can be anything you want to be, and you can decorate your house scary just for fun. What’s not to love? This year I have partnered with one of my favorite party stores Party City and got to do a little shopping in their Spooktacular Halloween in-home decor section. Before I get ahead of myself, you don’t want to go inside, they do have free same day delivery, and curbside pickup, so keep that in mind.

Redbox Has Your Favorite Halloween Movies

Redbox recently asked people about their favorite scary movies and snacks. I wasn’t surprised at the results. I have seen them all. Out of the scary list the newest one of the list is the Quiet place is on there and I have to say it is a really really good movie. At the end it asks about Halloween traditions and what they are. It’s so fun to see the options.

What is your favorite scary movie?

Get your Fall and Halloween treats from TastyKake

My family gets very excited when they see sweets enter the house as I don’t buy them often at all. So, when TastyKake sent us a large box of their fall line everyone started drooling and fighting over who got what, but I’ll explain about that later. You can have a TastyKake Honeybun any time of year, right? Sure, but you can’t have some of their treats other times, that’s what make these ones special. This line is all about the Fall/Halloween, and they are extra delicious.

Halloween Decorations for a Great Price from At Home

Fall is here which means Halloween time. When I lived in Wisconsin it was hard to decorate for Halloween as we never knew when the snow would fall. Not that i’m in Arizona, well, now I can decorate all I want. That’s where the At Home store comes into play. We shop there for our regular home decor, but they also have a great holiday selection.

Aeromax Robot Shirt and Helmet: Perfect for Pretend Play and Halloween!

Boys like to play pretend too! My boys have always had an amazing imagination and love to use it anytime. They have four loves in life: dinosaurs, sharks, space and robots so when I was asked to review some pretend play items from Aeromax I quickly agreed! We received the Robot Helmet and the Robot Engineer shirt. I originally got it for my three year old, but he was not being very friendly the day that I took review pictures so his big brother posed for me! They actually both have spent a substantial amount of time playing with these, and I am personally amazed that both fit our nine year old. He is just under 5' and wear a 14 kids and the jacket fit him! Just barely, but it fit! The helmet fit him and me both, but our noses were a little big and touched the plastic on the shield.

Storybook Dress up with Pure Costumes!

I have a hard time believing that it is already time to start thinking about Halloween and dressing up! At my oldest sons school, they require that they dress up as a character from a storybook and not anything particularly ghoulish! I've been lucky in the past and have been able to find some type of book to match who he wanted to be for Halloween. After all, there are Transformer and Mario Books readily available.
I personally love more classic Storybook Characters for dress up, so I have compiled this list of awesome Storybook Costume ideas for you to consider this year! You can find every costume at Pure Costumes this year!

1. We all know Little Red Riding Hood, but what about her Toddler Wolf counterpart? How cute would it be to have a big sister dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and to have her little sibling as the Wolf? This would be an adorably cute, unique costume pair!
