Help Your Kids Learn to Read With Reading Eggs

My youngest is 6 year old and she loves to read. Despite her reading far above her age she
still struggles in a few areas. When I found out about Reading Eggs I thought maybe it would
be a really good thing for her. The more I looked at it, I thought it would really help her. It has
more than just here’s a letter. It’s for all reading levels and has math as well. So, I contacted
Reading Eggs and they were thrilled to worked with us, which of course is amazing and I get
to tell you guys all about it.

Give Your Kids Toys from Monti Kids this Valentine's Day

Finding the right developmental toys for your kids can be hard. I know myself, I have just guessed and looked at the age range 18mo+ or under etc and bought that hoping my kids would like it and be useful. Monti Kids takes the guessing away from you and sends you toys specific for your child's range based on Montessori methods and sends quarterly.

Learning Tower and Easel from Little Partners

My three year old is in the age that she wants to help and watch everything, even doing the dishes. We have little stools all over the house, but they aren’t always good enough. Recently Little Partners asked if I would look at their learning tower and easel combo.

Splash Math, great math app for prek to 5th grade

I am working really hard with Fallon on numbers and letters. Splash Math for preK, is perfect for her. She’s 2.5 so she’s just starting to get this. This app does things at her level and she can understand. Just playing with it a little bit, she is already learning so much. I definitely say this is a winner app.

For those of you that have a little bit older kids, Splash Math also has an app for grades 1-5. My oldest is in 6th grade so I had her play with it a little and she liked it. She’s a little old for it, but she said it probably would have helped a lot when she was younger. I think i’ll keep it on my phone so I can play with it more and Fallon when she gets a little older.

Roominate Allows You to Play With Your Imagination

I remember watching Shark Tank awhile ago and they had a toy on there for girls to use their imagination and just build. So when Romminate asked me to take a look at their studio, I couldn’t help but say yes.

ABCmouse.com: Review and Giveaway

https://www.abcmouse.com/

I home school our five year old and two year old boys. It's not always easy to get them motivated to work. I try to keep our lessons exciting, entertaining and cloaked in fun. It's easiest for them to learn when they don't know they are actually learning. Little C, my oldest, rebels when it feels too much like work. They are both very smart and learned the basics before they were even two years old so I foolishly thought they would embrace school. They'd be little book worms who hunger for learning. And dying to create science experiments and solar system models. Ha! Nope. Of course they want to make it challenging for Mommy. I guess I'm learning too.

Some days, it takes a while just to get them focused on our school day. For this reason alone, I will recommend ABCmouse to anyone who has little ones. They ask for school to start so they can play on ABCmouse.com (or mouse dot com, as Little D calls it). "Ok, you can play on ABCmouse.com after you get dressed and brush your teeth". muuuahhahahaha mommy bribery and learning combined. Win. Win.
