Ladies have you been to the doctor’s office and had
to use their gown? Who knows how many people have worn that same one before you
have. Also when staying in the hospital I have to wear their gown. They aren’t
comfortable and even though you are in a hospital you can look cute, and their
gowns are far from cute. I was asked to review Patient Styles Mammography gown
and the nursing gown.
I think ti’s a great idea that Patient Style makes
options for people like me who spend way too much time in a clinic and hospital
setting. I like to be comfortable when I’m there.
I personally don’t need the Mammography Top, but I know
women who do, and I also know how important mammograms are. Getting tested and
doing your monthly check can come down to early diction or simply not finding
the problem until it can be too late. When I received the gown, I noticed on
how soft it was. I tried it on and it really did feel like I was wearing
pajamas. The gown wraps around and has a 60% cotton and 40% polyester blend. I
have a friend that needs multiple testing done to make sure her cancer is gone.
I will be giving this to her so when she goes in for her next exam she can wear
something and feel good about it.
The second item I was sent is something that I wish I
had when I had my girls. The nursing gowns that hospitals give us are so
awkward and not always very easy to nurse with, especially when people are
coming in and out of the room. The Nursing Gown that Patient Style has is
really great. It looks like a big comfortable night gown. It has hidden flaps
and center slits that you don’t even notice until it’s time to feed the baby.
You can be as discrete as you want. It is also helpful at home if you are
expecting guests the first couple days. Let’s face it, the first few days at
home with a newborn are a little crazy. Everyone is adjusting to a new schedule
and moms are tired. Who doesn’t want to have the ease of a nursing gown? I know
for me it would have been great. I had a c-section with my second so I wasn’t
moving fast and I needed something that didn’t press on my stomach. Much like
the Mammogram Gown, the nursing gown also has the same blend. It’s so nice and
soft. It kind of makes me miss having a newborn to nurse (key words were kind
of as I’m done in that department). I will definitely be passing this along to
a nursing mom.
The last item I was sent, is one I will not be
giving to others as I am keeping for myself. Socks! I love socks and I seriously
think that these are the softest socks I have ever worn. They have the non-slip
bottoms for when you are in the hospital and walking around. If you are
anything like me, you will want to wear them at home and want to get a few
pairs for yourself.
One of the things I really like about Patient Style
is that they don’t just make items for adults, they also make them for kids and
babies. This way everyone can be comfortable. It’s hard having your little one
away and staying in the hospital, might as well make them feel like home, at
least with their clothing.
Everything is very affordable and will fit into just
about any budget. If you happen to work in a hospital you can forward this to
the purchasing department and they can order and customize everything for your
facility.

I love the hidden flaps and center slits on the nursing gown - so convenient! And better looking than the hospital provided gowns!
ReplyDeleteThe nursing gown looks stylish and I love the center slits for nursing. I remember I had to use the hospital gown when I had my daughter and it was really awkward when people were there for nursing.
ReplyDeleteI like the length of the gowns
ReplyDeleteI love the gowns are longer than standard hospital gowns. They always seem to ride up.
ReplyDeleteI love that the nursing gown is longer and more modest than traditional hospital gowns, but also convenient for breastfeeding and skin to skin contact.
ReplyDeleteI like the nursing gown because it's pretty, it's much easier to navigate than a hospital. They are a good length. My daughter is due in August. Thanks for the chance.
