1-2-3 Track Wilson Rides the Rails Set

Chuggington. Trains. Koko! It's an obsession around my house! The train obsession started with my oldest son, and as he started to grow out of it, along came my younger son who loves all things trains and all things Chuggington! I received an awesome play set for review recently that I am excited to tell you about, because it makes the PERFECT Christmas gift for the little train lover in your life! First, it is readily available at Toys R Us, and secondly, it is under $40 so it is in the right price range too!

First off, what I love about this set, and I mean LOVE is the tracks do not come apart! They are in one piece. I don't know about you, but if you have a train loving kid, you know just how completely frustrating they can become putting tracks together. This has even left my husband and I hot gluing tracks to a plywood board before, so he had tracks he could play with and not take apart! This idea is even better...tracks that just do not come apart, so your child can take it and play anywhere without the frustration of tracks breaking! These tracks are flexible and twist and turn in different ways as your child plays on different terrains. This set comes with a Brewster and tender, and my son loves that....though he might have been slightly more thrilled with a Koko, who has has adopted as his absolute favorite Chuggington character!

Godors Spray: If You Have Smelly Boys You NEED This!

Man, I never would have thought that a seven year old could stink the way my seven year old does. Between his underarm stink and his feet, this boy can smell up a room! The underarms we solved with a little fractionated coconut oil and some essential oil blends specifically for smells since I do not want to be using harsh chemicals on him at this young age. The feet, now that is another thing.

It seems that his favorite pair of Sperry sandals seems to be a big culprit in this. Even though I wash these shoes often, the smell always seems to come back in one or two wears. I do not want to wash them that often, because anyone who knows Sperry's know that they are NOT cheap and I do not want to wear them out, so I decided to give Godors Spray a try when they contacted me. My first thought when I smelled this is that the spray smells an awful lot like a drop they use in hospitals to cut down on the intensely foul odors that can be found there. In fact, my husband loves this product's smell so much that he has bought it to put in the bottom of our trash cans to prevent stink...anyway, so leave it said, that Godors has a very nice, sweet and slightly minty smell that we in the health care profession appreciate. It is apparently a cinnamon scent, but to me it honestly smells more minty....maybe my smeller is just off?

Video Game Costumes are All the Rage and We Love Our Minecraft Steve Mask!

Minecraft is all the rage right now, and especially with my six year old son. He would spend all day playing Minecraft and watching Stampy Long Nose videos if I let him! When he is not either playing the game or watching the videos, he is often dreaming up scenarios and acting out his imagination in life.

Recently, I was offered the chance to review the Steve Mask from Costume Reviewers. Of course my little man was over the moon happy at the chance, because this provides him the perfect opportunity to use his imagination and incorporate Minecraft into his play. We already have the pick ax and sword from Minecraft, so this Steve head was a welcome addiction. I am in love with the fact that this is a quick, simple Halloween costume that can be used year round. At less than $20, it is a relatively inexpensive option for imagination play for those wanting to join the computer world!
