There are times when my kids are glued to their screen. It can be their phones, tablets, or the TV ie shows/video games. One way I can get them away from them is by cooking/baking together, getting outside when the weather is nice or another fav, craft time. My kiddos call me extra because when it comes to crafts and in the kitchen i’m always doing something and it usually is extra. I can’t help it, I like to have fun. We recently were introduced to a new (well new to us) company called Allessimo, and they have the cutest crafts. Check below on how Fallon and Canon did with theirs.

Use pilot pens to cover your books

Are you done with your back to school shopping or are you like me and kind of wait until the last minuet? We all know that Pilot Pen holds a special place in my heart. As we prepare for school a little different this year, I had Fallon make sure she had everything she needed. One thing that wasn’t done was the book coverings. Well, thanks to Pilot we can take care of that.

Lennon Bruce Fire Breather Children's book

We all need a little help sometimes dealing with our emotions especially our kiddos. It can be really hard to know what is right way to react. Kate Bartlein wrote a great book called Lennon Bruce Fire Breather that is just about this very topic.

Gummy Bare Slime with We Bare Bares

It’s week 3 already for #CampWarnerBros and this week we made edible gummy bear slime. It sounds a little different, but it was really fun and really actually quite good to be honest. After we made it, we watched the movie We Bare Bares: The Movie. Super cute movie which Fallon loved. Now the slime only involves 3 ingredients and is super simple to makes which is fantastic I love easy and fast crafts. Check out how to make it below. Also don’t forget to check out the movie as well on Movies Anywhere.

The last film of Star Wars franchise recently came out in the theater and if you love Star Wars like my family does, you probably went and saw it. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was definitely worth seeing in the theater. On March 31 you will be able to purchase it on 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™ and DVD. Right now, you can buy digital from Movies Anywhere. While you are at home with your family and want a fun DIY activity, below are instructions to make a X-Wing craft with just a few items.

DIY State String Art

I had seen string art before and thought it looked neat, but that’s about it. Well, until Mya showed me a state string out that she thought was really cool. She hasn’t been feeling well, so I wanted to cheer her up, so I went out and got all the supplies needed. I couldn’t find the wood I wanted so Target came to the rescue and I used a foam board.
