Miracle Blanket

My last baby is a no longer much of a baby (9 months) but there are tons of babies that are being born in my life right now. Both my cousin and my nephew are expecting babies soon, and one thing that helped me most to make it through the super stressful nights was swaddling my baby. I recently received a sample of the Miracle Blanket and have been playing with this to see just how it works, and I am very impressed with it. First off, this blanket is very soft and 100% cotton so it is breathable and stretchable for the baby. It makes the miracle of swaddling easy for new moms, which is perfect for my cousin who is expecting her first. Swaddling a baby makes them feel more secure, and keeps them safe and warm just like they were when they were in their mama's belly. The Miracle Blanket is soft, stretchy, and as I mentioned it definitely makes swaddling babies easy. During the first few weeks without our oldest, my husband and I both struggled with swaddling him, and we were both trained nurses, who actually learned how to do this in nursing school! We are at the super fun stage of development for my daughter that she is pulling up on everything! I cannot believe we are already here, because she was just born...like yesterday!?! But alas, she is eight months old, and crawling all over the house, and will be walking in a blink! I call her my little grasshopper because of the spastic way she maneuvers! She is just so cute, and I love that the Little Balance Box helps her along with her balance and motor skills.

This little innovation was created by a physical therapist who saw problems with both seated and push walkers. The seated ones do not allow proper movements that train the body to walk correctly, and the push ones often are awkward and have handles that are too high. She then created the little balance box, and I have so say I am happy she did.

Little Frog Water Play Mat from Haba

As you know, we welcome a new baby into the family so we have to start over with the baby toys. I was recently asked if I would like to review the Little Frog Water Play Mat from HABA USA. Of course I wanted to, because this little mat is so cute and makes tummy time so much better for the princess! She, like many babies, hates tummy time, so to be able to make it better for her was excellent. Since she is only three months old, I do think she is a little young to really enjoy this but I know in a couple months she will really enjoy it! Her three year old brother has really enjoyed it though. He loves squishing the water and watching the floating toys move around! The water is easy to add, and the material on the outside is really quick to dry if you accidentally spill some. There are different taggies on the side, and a few textures to stimulate a babies tactile sense. Not to mention the froggie is adorably cute!

I highly recommend this  HABA USA if you have a little one who dislikes tummy time like mine do! It gives them something to look at and entertain them while they are down there! The bright colors of the frog really catches babies attention, and as I mentioned, even my three year old finds it fun!

Oh Mommies! I know that when you baby is between 4-6 months old you feel anything but beautiful and definitely not stylish.
