Gerber Lil’ Beanies new Snack for Toddlers

This post is sponsored by opinions and thoughts are 100% mine

As our babies grow into toddlers the harder it can be sometimes to get them to eat a healthy snack. Gerber has come out with a great new snack for our little ones. It is a crunchy food, so use your discretion about that and make sure they can sit up on their own and have had solid foods already (perfect for toddlers).

Get Little Ones Moving More Naturally with Little Balance Box!

We are at the super fun stage of development for my daughter that she is pulling up on everything! I cannot believe we are already here, because she was just born...like yesterday!?! But alas, she is eight months old, and crawling all over the house, and will be walking in a blink! I call her my little grasshopper because of the spastic way she maneuvers! She is just so cute, and I love that the Little Balance Box helps her along with her balance and motor skills.

This little innovation was created by a physical therapist who saw problems with both seated and push walkers. The seated ones do not allow proper movements that train the body to walk correctly, and the push ones often are awkward and have handles that are too high. She then created the little balance box, and I have so say I am happy she did.

Philips Avent Penguin Sippy Cups

As you might have noticed, I am proud to be part of the Philips Avent Ambassador program, and I have one final product to tell you all about. It's the Philips Avent Penguin Sippy Cup. We just love this cup. From a mommy standpoint, I love the simplicity of this cup. As you can see in the picture, this cup is literally 3 pieces: the soft spout, the lid, which includes the handles and the body. Secondly, we love the handles. These handles are designed to be easy to hold on to and even have grips that make it easier for them to hang on to.  The princess is now seven months old, so we are just starting to get her adjusted to sippy cups making the transition easier when we take her off of bottles when she is a year old. The soft spout of this cup will make that transition incredibly easy, because she is already taking to it like a champ! It also helps that this sippy cup has an angled spout so the princess does not have to tip her head really far back to get a drink.

Leap TV Allows Smaller Kids to Feel Like Their Older Siblings, and Provides Educational Fun!

Sometimes, our little ones yearn to be like their older siblings, only to be shut down right? Well we recently received an awesome product that allows our almost three year old to feel more like his big brother, the Leap TV. In the past we have tried similar products, only to be disappointed by the gritty quality and slow to load games. That is not the case with the Leap TV at all! This gaming system is easy to set up, easy to use and allows our toddler to feel like his big brother because he has his own system. There is a large selection of games available to purchase to play with it, and is so much fun! Even my husband had quite a deal of fun playing with Blaze and the Monster Machines on it. It is the perfect system for my three year old son. It is also a very affordable option depending on where it is purchased! I know right now I have seen some amazing prices on Leap TV and the games.

LeapFrog Christmas Gifts $25 and Under!!

As you all know, I am very excited to be part of the Leapster Mom Squad! It is such a great opportunity to try out the latest products, and tell you guys about it and I received a few that we are in love with! You can read my review of the Leapster Epic here.....but I want to tell you about two others that my son loves!! While the Epic is a great toy for BOTH of my boys, these two are much more appropriate for my toddler son, who will be three in January.

The Number Lovin' Oven is just a super cool toy! We use this to help my son learn to count, and also to use for his imagination as well! He loves to pretend to cook with this oven and serve us meals...and make himself some too! It comes with utensils, and food items. It really is the perfect toy for kids who show and interest in cooking, but parents who do not want to spend the HUGE money on the larger kitchen sets, only to find out their kids are not interested! This set comes with everything you need for a ready made meal your child pretends to create, and at a very reasonable price!

Scouts Build and Discover Tool set is amazingly awesome too! We particularly love this one because my son is always looking for a tool to fix things around the house like his Daddy does! He, like most toddler boys, prefers the real tools, but is perfectly happy to use his pretend set as well to help! This set comes with all the tools a little boy can imagine to help with a big project, and of course, it offer a counting and educational aspect like all Leapfrog toys do!

Sprout Organics Orange Fruit and Carrot Cereal Snacks are a Wonderfully Nutritious "Grab and Go" Snack!

We have become such a busy family it is incredible, and things are just going to get crazier in the next two days because we are having another baby to add into the mix! We are almost always on the go, between appointments, extracurricular activities and just fun things we like to do. For this reason, I am always looking for convenient snacks that we can just grab and throw in my purse for my boys to eat as they get hungry. Sprout Organics has provided me with a wonderful new snack that is perfect for my purse, and healthy for my son too! It doesn't hurt that he loves it too! The Orange Fruit and Carrot Cereal snack is not too overly sweet, but has just enough sweet flavor that my little ones loves it! Of course, like all things from Sprout, it is organic too, so that makes Mama happy!

As Sprout Organics Says, their products are real. honest. pure. Who does not want to provide their children with foods that are those three things! I feel good about being able to give my babies (and toddler in this case) snacks that are healthy, tasty and nutritious, rather than some junk food that we can grab and go in our hurried, everyday life!

If you have an infant, Sprout Organics has a HUGE selection of Organic baby foods as well. They are made in convenient pouches so they are also perfect to grab and throw in your diaper bag as well for meals on the go! The variety is beyond amazing and you can get combinations like: green beans, peas and butternut squash or pumpkin, black bean, yogurt and spinach. So many healthy ingredients for your little ones to grab and enjoy while your busy family is on the go!

WallyKazam!

If you have a toddler and cable, then I have no doubt that you already know who Wallykazam is!! This fun show is of big interests to my son and also the kids I work with at a pediatric daycare for medically fragile kids! They all get thrilled when they get to watch a new episode.

This DVD that was just released at the end of April features four of the favorite WallyKazam episodes which makes my two year old so happy:

•  Naptime for Borgelord
• Castle Caper
• Victor The Villain
• The Switching Stone

The series follows the adventures of Wally and his pet dragon, Norville, who live in a forest among giants, goblins and other fantastical creatures. Wally has a magic stick that makes words come to life on the screen playfully transforming the world around him. Wallykazam! is Nickelodeon’s first preschool series that embeds a literacy curriculum into a full-length story, introducing skills such as letter and sound identification, rhyming, vocabulary development and comprehension strategies. Each of the four adventures features a new set of words and the DVD contains a free gift with purchase of customizable Wallykazam! name labels while supplies last. Created by Nickelodeon and distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution, Wallykazam! will be available on DVD on April 28, 2015 for the suggested retail price of $14.99.

Stop Bedtime Battles with elo Storytime pillow! Win Yours!

"It all began at bedtime. A mother of two was tired of the bedtime battle. Her friend imagined a “magic pillow” that would stop storytime every time her daughter lifted her head off the pillow.
One night, the mother tried this tactic while reading stories—and it worked! The excuses to get out of bed dissolved away, and her daughter stayed resting in bed. She even tried to pick up her stuffed animal with her feet so her story wouldn’t be interrupted!
Thus began the elo pillow. Now that “magic pillow” is no longer just a dream product, but a tool to encourage restful bedtimes and decrease struggles. Enjoy!"

Bedtime. It is something that we parents both loathe and look forward to simultaneously!  Seriously, getting kids bathed, in their pajamas and asleep is something that can make you crazy....but when they are asleep.......sweet, sweet sleep.....then a moms work is done- or not! One could dream, right?

Cosco Pronto Booster Seat Fits Child up to 100lbs and 57 inches Tall!

I try to keep things real on this blog, and occasionally there are times that I review items that are out of my price range! While they are super nice, many times the price would hold me back from making the purchase if it were not for a review. I do LOVE it when I receive an item for review that is within my budget, and other struggling families budgets as well!

Trust me, I know that life is hard right now and money just seems to be getting tighter and tighter. At least, that is the way it seems for me. So when Cosco agreed to send me the Pront Booster seat, I was thrilled to check it out. At less than $40, it fits well within any families budget. My oldest is 72lbs and about 49 inches tall. I feel best keeping him in a high backed booster as long as possible, and since the Cosco Pronto goes up to 100lbs and 57 inches tall, I knew this one would fit him well.

InnoTab Max makes an Incredible Christmas Gift for Preschoolers!

In today's very technologically savvy world, there is practically NO age that is too young for a tablet! My youngest little man has been enjoying his brothers tablet since he was less than a year old, and has wanted his own for quite some time now. We had decided that this year for Christmas, he would get one, even though he is not yet two. In our research, we found that we were most interested in the VTech Innotab for little man! There are three tablets available right now from Vtech and those are the Innotab 3, the Innotab 3s Plus and the Innotab Max. I was lucky enough to get offered a Innotab Max for review, and I have to say, I am so happy this is the one they wanted me to review. They are all AMAZING tablets but the Innotab Max will suit my little guys needs best. If you are still torn on which tablet to get, check out this page to help you decide.

Lets talk about the facts:
The age range for the Innotab Max is 3-9. Though my man is a younger than that, he is still able to navigate the tablet quite nicely. Even his big brother, who is 7, enjoys this tablet too! The resolution is amazing, and it offers great picture and multi touch screen. It holds 8gb of memory, and you can add a micro sd card for memory expansion. It is WiFi enabled, and takes both pictures and videos. It also has a 6+ hour battery life. It also has a 12 month manufacturer warranty with registration. The Vtech Innotab Max retails for $109.

New Family Festive DVDs for the Holidays from Anchor Bay Entertainment

Tickety Toc “Christmas Present Time” and Chuggington “Chuggineers Ready to Build”

I admit it, my boys just love television, especially my little one! At the young ago of almost two he has developed a very deep love of certain shows, including Chuggington. I guess he is falling into big brothers train loving footsteps! Two new episodes from Chuggington and Tickety Toc have just been released on 10/14!

Chuggington “Chuggineers Ready to Build”

Who is the strongest and most dependable construction crew in Chuggington?  The Chuggineers!  In this special collection of hard-working adventures plus train loads of free bonus features! Brewster joins Chuggineers Zack, Fletch and Tyne to build tracks, bridges and tunnels, make repairs, haul heavy loads and more!  Featuring new wagons and machines -- like the huge yellow Mega Chug Crane -- and new friends -- including Payce, the tunnel runner from Tootington, and Cormac, the cheeky forklift engine -- Wilson, Brewster, Koko, and your own little trainee will discover important lessons about safety, responsibility and teamwork!

I love the values that Chuggington teaches my boys, and this episode is no different! It teaches sportsmanship and working together, and it is just fun to watch. Chuggington offers bright colors and lots of action to keep the littlest watching interested, but enough of a story line for the older kids to find it interesting and humorous!

Toddler Christmas Wish List from Vtech!

Its pretty obvious my little family loves Vtech! After all, we have reviewed the Go Go Smart Wheels Train Set and the Kiddizoom Smart Watch! We were very impressed with both and have gotten hours of enjoyment out of each! Vtech contacted me again and asked me to review several of their products and give your our take on it this Holiday shopping season! All four products we received were top notch!!

VTech Chomp & Count Dino (Ages 12-36 months, MSRP: $19.99)

•  Your child will learn about colors, numbers, and food with the adorable new Chomp & Count Dino.

We have always been huge dinosaur fans in our house, since our oldest son loves them! Baby boy now roars like a dinosaur because being a dinosaur is all he knows. As you can imagine, this VTech Chomp & Count dinosaur has been a favorite of ours for this reason!! We love playing with it and sorting the colors and shapes out, talking about them and then focusing on his fine motor skills by inserting the food! The food/coins are pretty large so I never have to worry about it being a choking hazard for my little man!! This is a highly educational toy that also helps with motor skills. All around for the price, it is pretty awesome!

Recaro Perfomance Sport Harness Booster Review

I am something of a collector of car seats. I only have one child in a car seat not (my older son is in a booster) and I have no less than five car seats floating around our house and in our cars. I am always looking for the best brands, and eager to test them out! Now that my little guy is almost 18 months old and 30+ pounds, we were ready to turn him forward facing. I contacted Recaro about reviewing one of their fabulous Recaro Performance Sport Harness Booster, and was thrilled to receive one in Redd!

Siliskin- Win Your Choice of Silimap or Siliskin Glass Sippy

My littlest boy is trying to grow up all too fast! Even though there is over 5 years between he and his brother, he wants to do everything big brother does. That means by 9 months my little guy was out of his highchair and into a table booster chair. It means he was walking WELL at 10 months and just doing everything entirely too fast! Like I said, he wants to sit at the big table with us at dinner, and also wants to eat off of plates and drink out of glasses. Siliskin sent me a couple items to help him feel like a big boy, but still keep my dining room and sanity intact.

The first item I received was the Siliskin Glass Sippy Cup. This is a great alternative to plastic, and you do not have to worry about the chemicals that might be in the plastics. My little man can feel older with the glass cup, but it is covered in Silicone to make it a bit safer. It also has a removable silicone sippy which is great. As he grows and no longer needs the sippy top, he can use the cup by itself, but now the sippy lid completely envelops the silicone body of the cup to prevent spills. My little guy really seems to love the cup, and kept taking it back to our water cooler to refill it! He did not seem to have any problems getting liquid out of the sippy spout like he does with some cups! We love this 8oz cup so much, I think I will be adding an entire collection of them to our cupboards. I think they are great for kids and adults alike.
