Subscription boxes are so much fun. It’s a great way to get new products from different companies. You can find sub boxes in pretty much any category, pet, beauty, household, and of course kids products. I worked with Please and Carrots back in 2014 and was happy when they asked that I work with them again as they have expanded and have even more toys for more age groups.

Imaginative University is a FUN monthly subscription box!
by:
Paige
I have two very busy little boys, with quite the age difference between them. My youngest just turned two and his brother is 7 now! This age difference often makes it hard for me to find something to do with both of them at the same time, so when Imaginative University sent me one of their monthly subscription boxes, I was delighted to learn that both of my boys enjoyed it!
Even though they did not enjoy it on the same level, they both had a blast. While my older son had fun doing the science projects and art and crafts, while my younger son mostly just had a blast playing with the mediums of both. While son #1 and I made snow, #2 played with the shaving cream on the table. We made a borax crystal cross, and snow- complete with a snowman. Then we had fun melting him with kool-aid. We made snowflakes out of coffee filters, we read two books together, and what is better all supplies were provided by Imaginative University, even down to the kids scissors. Want to hear something cooler? We did ALL of those projects and have not even scratched the surface on all the of projects left to do in this box! That's right, we still have insta-snow to make, epsom salt crystals, and a picture to complete.

Please and Carrots subscription box
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
It’s no secret that I love subscription boxes, especially when they are geared towards my kids. Please and Carrots is a new subscription box for kids 0-3. I had to check it out after they asked me to review one of their boxes.
Please and Carrots is a little different than most subscription boxes. They don’t come monthly but quarterly instead and are packaged according to your child’s age at that time frame. For us we received a box geared for 27-30 month old, which is where my youngest is at.

The Happy Trunk: The Subscription Box for Happy Kids!
by:
Paige
As you know, we love arts and crafts, science and subscription boxes! I was recently lucky enough to receive The Happy Trunk! The Happy Trunk is different than other boxes because it combines both arts and science, which happens to be my oldest sons favorite things! There are two boxes: one for ages 3-7 and 8-11. We opted for the 8-11 option since my son is particularly talented in science and crafts at only almost 7.
The box we received included everything we needed for three fun activities. An LED conductor, a paper machete kit to make a lantern and a mask. We had a ton of fun doing each, and particularly the mask! I am actually the one that added the material to the plastic mask and shaped it and let it dry since my little man did not like the way it felt on his hands. He had a blast painting it though! Even though he has had a lot of fun playing with his mask, we now have it hanging in his room as a decoration because it is rather heavy duty!! After making the lantern we realized we should have done a few more layers of the paper, because it was a little light weight! We still have plenty of the paper machete glue left, and we do plan on doing this super fun activity again in the near future!

Groovy Lab in a Box Review/Giveaway
by:
Paige

Subscription boxes are so much fun! Over the years I have received many, from foods, baby boxes, health items and one or two for my older son. I think the Groovy Lab In a Box is probably our favorite for my oldest son though! He is a VERY science minded little boy. In fact, he eats, sleeps and breaths anything science, so this box is right up his alley! At only $28.95+$5/shipping for one month, it is well worth the hours of entertainment we received! This one little box is packed full of different investigations such as: solar balloon, solar oven, conductivity sensor and desalination plant!
"Your subscription arrives at your doorstep hassle free! Groovy Lab in a Box is full of everything a child needs to learn about and do hands on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) experiments. Our monthly box activates thinking, questioning, inquiring, and original creation as we guide children through the “SCIENTIFIC INQUIRY & ENGINEERING DESIGN PROCESS.” Each month features all the supplies needed to complete activities, experiments, and design challenges outlined in our custom, subject specific lab notebook."

Katrina Kroeplin
I know I have talked a lot about subscription boxes and how much I love them. I have never tried one that is geared more toward electronics. PocketSwank asked me to check theirs out, and we all know I love me some electronic toys, so I of course said yes.
PocketSwank is a new company that is set to launch later this summer. Each box will consist of phone/device accessories and other cool items that you normally wouldn’t see. The price point of boxes is $35 including free shipping and the value of each box is roughly $42 dollars give or take of course.

Jocks N Tees
by:
Katrina Kroeplin
We live in a world of subscription boxes. If you don’t know what those are, you are missing out big time. Subscription boxes are amazing and make life a lot easier sometimes, and sometimes they are just for fun. Jocks N Tees is a subscription box for men. The names pretty much says it all. They do men’s undergarments. I was asked to take a look at their services.

Citrus Lane December Box Rocked My Socks!
by:
Paige
Citrus Lane sent me a Melissa and Doug Farm Animal Knob Puzzle. Even though my little man (11 months) is more interested in chewing on this than actually playing, I know we will have a lot of fun with it in the future. In fact, one of the only things I saved from my eldest was wooden puzzles. Simply because they are so expensive, and we had such a great time playing with them together! As most Moms know, Melissa and Doug is one of the top name in wooden puzzles, so definitely a quality item!

Lalaalu is a SUPER fun subscription box for the little ones!
by:
Paige
Lalaalu Review-
Wow. I am SERIOUSLY impressed with Lalaalu. I have received/
reviewed/purchased other baby and child subscription boxes and I am most
impressed with the Lalaalu box I received! We received so many awesome items
and every single one will be put to great use in our home! I added up the total
cost of my box and it is worth almost $61- and to purchase this box with a
subscription would only be $30! That is a $31 savings! The wonderful thing is
that because they send legitimate items that a family with a baby/child will
use- nothing is wasted and you really feel like you are getting a great deal.
Not to mention- how fun is it to get a surprise in the mail every single month?
You might wonder what the subscription box includes.
“Your subscription includes a monthly gift box with 6-8 natural-based and eco-friendly brands, hand-curated by our panel of 15 NYC families. The collection of products always includes something for mealtime, bath time and playtime and a treat for mom and dad too! The products are parent-recommended and kid-approved, ideal for kids 0-3 years of age.”
Let me tell you what we received in my fabulous subscription
box.
Firstly we received (2) Lazoo books. Together these books are
valued at $14, and are a ton of fun for the little ones. They both have
incredibly bright colors and teach babies about colors and animals. They
definitely stimulate my little man and he is only 2 months old. I know we will be using these many, many time
over the next few months as he grows and develops. They are also cardboard
books so they hold up well against the toughest wear and tear.
The M0mma Spoons are pretty awesome too! I love the handles.
The large ball at the end are great for little hands learning to grip spoons
and the shortened stem helps with hand to mouth action for babies. Even my 2
month old can hold this!! I also love that when you sit them upright on the
table they a)stand and b) rock- so not only are they a spoon. They also work as
a toy when you are out at a restaurant. They also come with a cover, so they
are the perfect spoon to take with you!
Lansinoh Clean and Condition Cloths are wonderful too! These
are not a typical diaper wipe. They are non-drying so they are the perfect wipe
to keep in your car for noses, hands and even as a bum wipe! I love the
extremely light scent of them and how incredibly soft they make my hands feel. They
are also very gentle when I use them as a bum wipe for my little man. Just all
around a great wipe!
I was probably most excited about the Jack n’ Jill
Toothpaste and toothbrush. With my oldest little guy- we used the chemical
laden brand that you find in every store around. While it worked okay, all of
the chemicals worried me. I am so excited to find another brand that is fluoride-free,
no SLS and no preservatives. What is even cooler- the toothbrush is made from
CORN STARCH and is biodegradable! While little man is too young to have his
teeth brushed, I had to try this paste out to share with you. We received the
banana flavor. While it does not taste entirely like bananas is does taste
pretty good. It has a typical sweet taste of all baby toothpastes, but just
knowing that I am not loading my little guy down with chemicals is so worth it
to me! I also rubbed it on my teeth and was really surprised out how clean those teeth felt! It totally works!
While I am not breastfeeding anymore, The Lansinoh
Therapearls (valued at $15.99) is a wonderful addition to our medical kit for
bumps that my babies may get. I personally have one stored in the freezer for
an icepack when my oldest is begging for ice for his many bumps and bruises,
and the other is stored in the medical kit to microwave as a heat pack. We have
already used the ice variety. It works very well. Because it comes with a
little cloth cover, it is much more comfortable on his bumps rather than the
typical ice in a baggie wrapped in a paper towel!
So, now I am sure you see why I just LOVE my Lalaalu box! It
is a fantastic value, and again- every single item will be used in our home! I
HIGHLY recommend them if you like suprises for yourself and little one, or if
you just want to give a gift to a loved one with a new baby. You can gift a box
for only one month for a flat fee of $35 and shipping is always free! Check it
out!
Paige
I received the above box for my consideration while writing
this review. I received no other compensation and all opinions are completely
my own.
