Beauty products are kind of my thing. Even with two boys, I
absolutely love doing my makeup and feeling pampered. In fact, I refuse to
leave the house without “my face” on. So when I heard of Beauty Box Five and
their blogging program, I jumped at the chance to review them. In my box, I
received five pretty nifty products!
La Fresh Instant Body Soother- Man, I wish I had more of
these!! This super cool essential oil beauty wipe is wonderful. I tend to be a
very stressed out person, and they are very relaxing to me! I rubbed the packed
onto my temples and upper shoulder area, and felt an instant soothing effect. I
wish I had a whole package of these!
Minxxette Brush Hanger- This is a very cool idea, except I
keep my brushes with my makeup and do my makeup in my chair in the living room.
I can see where this would be PERFECT for those women that keep all makeup in
the bathroom. You could have your whole set of brushes hanging for easy access,
and keep them cleaner!
Jean Pierre Cosmetics Oil Absorbing Tissue- I discovered oil
absorbing tissues back when I was about 16 and loved them. They are so perfect
for throwing in your purse and removing oil from your face when you are out and
about, without having to reapply powder. Unfortunately, soon after discovering
these tissues, I could not find them more. Those were the days that internet
shopping was not as big as it is now. Anyway, I was pretty stoked to see these
in my beauty box. They are incredibly handy, and they help to banish blemishes
too! Cannot get much better than that!
Model Co Illusion Lip Pencil- This is probably my favorite
product in the Beauty Box Five. The color of this pencil is one that is perfect
for any skin type, and it plumps up your pout when you wear it! Instead of
using it as only a liner, I actually use it as a lipstick and just add a gloss
on top- looks great!!
Brazen Cosmetics Eyeshadow- The color, Birthday suit, is
another color that is perfect for all skin types! It’s a nice brown shade, and
goes on pretty sheer but with a hint of sparkle which I love. I have not tried,
but I am sure you can wear this wet to give it more of a pop of color, or wear
it sheer like I did!
For $12 a month, this box is definitely worth it! We
here at The Nurse Mommy adore subscription boxes; because, they are like a little
present for yourself every single month! Beauty Box Five does not disappoint!
You can save even more by signing up quarterly or even yearly.

This is a great idea! I have to wonder though do they give you the option to choose skin type, colors ect..?
ReplyDeleteLori, I did not get an option, so I am assuming not. The colors I was sent were neutral and would match any skin tone.
ReplyDeleteOhh what a cool box - I've got a little bored of the ones we get over here but ones from over seas always seem so exciting. x
