iCoffee coffee maker

I love coffee, and I love going to coffee shops but don’t always have the time or money to pay $5+ for one cup. I was looking into new coffee makers and came across the iCoffee. It looked really cool and I was so happy when they agreed to send me one for review.

After reading more about the Remington iCoffee, I learned that their system uses steam to draw out as much rich coffee flavor as possible from the beans. You can use your own coffee grounds weather you grind yourself, or just from the store in a bag.

The machine is super easy to use and only takes a few minutes to get everything prepared. I love the fact that you can program it for later or of course if you want to brew right then and there you can. It is also super easy to clean. You just pop out the basket, clean that, pop it back and you’re good to go for next time.

You can actually watch the coffee being brewed through the little window before it even hits the coffee pot. I have never had one do that before and I thought that was really cool. During the brew process you can see the crema  forming as well. When you see that you know all the best tastes are coming out of the beans.

The first pot I made was really good. I used grounds from one of my favorite coffee houses, and since I don’t like it plain I added some special syrup. It was really nice sitting at home enjoying my own cup of coffee. I have some really cute coffee mugs but I think I may get disposable cups so it’s easier when I have family and friends over. I may be overthinking it, but it still sounds like fun.

Coffee makers come in all prices, and it really depends on what you are looking for. The iCoffee isn’t an inexpensive item, but in my opinion is worth the money if you are looking for a high quality machine that makes more than one cup at a time. Go to their site to find a retailer near you.

  12. The little window that allows you to watch the brewing process sounds cool! I have never seen that before. And I love any coffee maker that lets me program and prepare the night before so I don't have to turn on my brain so early in the morning!

  14. I absolutely love ice coffee, but don't live in a town that serves it anywhere. a 20 minute drive for coffee is a little crazy. I would love to be able to make super yummy icecoffee at home!

  16. Love the programable feature along with the window to watch the brewing. Check out your local stores for some inexpensive coffee mugs. I have the disposable cups that come w/lids and I never use them. The dollar store, walmart ... they have some great mugs that won't tip over and your guests may be thrilled to use holiday mugs out of season. I have one friend who brings home a mug from each trip she takes.

  17. Not needing filters is a big plus, but the flavor boost is the most attractive thing to me. I love coffee and it has to be very flavorful, but not acidic.
