Now there is Help to #BreakUpWYourMakeup

This is a partnered post with Galderma Laboratories, L.P. the makers of Soolantra® (ivermectin) Cream, 1%. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
Do you have rosacea? I do, luckily I don’t have it “really bad,” but it’s still enough to be noticed. Normally when it flares up I just put on more makeup to cover it. I don’t have to do that anymore with Galderma Laboratories L.P.’s rosacea treatment options.
If you don’t know what rosacea is exactly, ask your doctor and let them know if you suffer from any symptoms, such as a red face (like you are flushed, but aren’t) or tiny red bumps and pimples. Your doctor will give you a proper diagnosis, and if its rosacea, its nothing to be ashamed of. Its super common- more than 16 million Americans suffer from this skin condition.

I have had rosacea for years, but never knew what it was. I didn’t pay much attention to it except for putting more makeup on those areas. It wasn’t until my best friend started saying it would get worse when I was really sick (I also have chronic illnesses). I went to have a chemical peel and the lady that was doing the peel asked me if I did anything for my rosacea. My answer was “no, just makeup.” She encouraged me to have it looked at since it gets worse over time, but can be managed. All of this made sense when I looked into it and some people have flare ups when they are stressed.
I was recently told about Galderma’s prescription treatments and how they can help manage rosacea symptoms. I will try anything that will help me not cake on the makeup on part of my face! For people suffering from the bumps and pimples of rosacea, Soolantra® (ivermectin) Cream, 1% is a good option. Of course not every treatment is right for every person, so please consult a medical professional to determine which is right for you.

I wish I would have known about my rosacea years ago. Now that I know, I will be seeking out treatment to see how it can help me manage my rosacea. If you have rosacea, I recommend that you visit a dermatologist and ask about Galderma’s rosacea treatment options. When your rosacea is managed, you won’t need to cover up with makeup like I have all these years.
