Getting a new phone is always fun (for me at least). What’s also fun is getting new accessories for it. I love technology especially headphones. JBL is one of those companies I know has great quality products. So when I was asked to check out their Everest Elite 700 headphones, there was no way I was saying no.
Please note that these are over the ear headphones. If you are looking for something smaller, JBL has those too.
These are Bluetooth BUT JBL went a step further and kept a 3.5mm jack built in. They have a battery life of up to 15 hours play time which is great, but there are times that I forget to charge. Having the audio jack available makes me feel better. I know I’m not alone in getting upset that I go to listen to music and my headphones aren’t charged up. Of course, JBL includes an audio cable in the box but you can use others if you have them as well.
One of the biggest features that Everest Elite 700 headphones have is it’s noise-canceling technology. I don’t mean, if you turn it up loud enough you don’t hear anything. I mean that you can control the amount of outside noise you want to let in. If you download the JBL app, you get to really control it. I’m sure you are thinking “oh great another app”. I had the same thought at first too, but then started to use it. The fun thing about the app, is you get access to your music from the app. So no, going back and forth from volume and new song etc. It’s all in one making it a real seamless experience. I was on a road trip with my family and like most kids, mine were being loud and crazy. I tested the noise canceling out and it works. I couldn’t use it long that time, as I did have to tend to my kids, but it was really nice. I have since used it other times and loved it each time.
I pretty much love everything about these headphones, from the comfort level, the cushions, how it folds up small (yay for my bags) and even comes with a storage case you can keep in and throw in your bag as well if you want.
The cost for headphones like this aren’t “cheap”. I never expected them to be as you tend to get what you pay for. These are around 299.95 and can be bought right from JBL. From what I have experienced, you get a great deal. I have seen similar headphones cost a lot more and not have the same features as these. So, if you are in the market for new headphones, or need a gift idea, I’d definitely check these out.
