Bug and Pickle
by:
Paige

Is there anything better than a great smelling baby? You know the baby you pick up and just do not want to let go of, partly because the smell so good, and partly because babies are so darn cute! I, for one, am a HUGE fan of a great smelling baby..and house..car..people…okay, so maybe I just like great smelling things! However, the baby lotion that I got from Bug and Pickle has to be one of the best smelling products I have ever received! It is a mixture of lavender, orange and chamomile essential extracts and it is just divine! My mom says that it reminds her of something out of her childhood, so now I have to keep little mans lotion under tight wraps so she does not run off with it! The lotion is made with green tea, aloe vera, shea butter and vitamin E so it is mild enough to use on the most sensitive of skins. I love it, little man loves it (he puts it on his cheeks lol) and my mom loves it…so there you have it, tried and tested by three people and we all adore it!
Okay, confession time! Little man loves nothing more than to run around barefooted all the time! I commented just the other day how he is already getting those ugly man feet! (Ladies, tell me you do NOT know what I am talking about lol) His little feet are already getting rough and *sigh* ugly. I am fortunate of one thing though, he loves to be pampered!! So, now to combat all those barefooted days I use the baby butter from Bug and Pickle and massage his feet. He is in heaven, and mommy knows she is doing all she can to keep his little feet smooth for a little while longer! This butter has the same great smell as the lotion and also helps to reduce irritation to any problem area of skin.
I have never been a huge fan of the big name teething drops for babies. Have you ever taken a look at the chemicals in those? You know, as a nurse, if there is a medicine that I have trouble pronouncing for my baby I’m probably not going to use it! I prefer to keep things natural and
Bug and Pickle make that easy with their teething oil. Its made from the essential oil Roman chamomile and even has a sweet taste so babies can actually enjoy it!
When little man was an infant I discovered a miracle product called Gripe Water. I would literally drive for an hour to get this stuff, and stock up on 10 bottle at a time. Lil guy was not an easy baby. He was lactose intolerant and had a lot of gas issues. The day I discovered Gripe Water was the day I became a happier mom. Problem was, it was SOOO hard to find. Guess what???
Bug and Pickle now makes that easier on you too! They have this wonderful little product that you can apply externally to your infant, so if the thought of having your baby drink something worries you, or if your child hates the taste of gripe water….check out the Tummy Trouble rub from
Bug and Pickle. It has all natural ingredients made from Fennell and Dill seed and has been known to help relax a colicy baby or to ease stomach troubles.
