My little man has developed another obsession (silly kid gets on these kicks) and now it is with his Blue Gerber Nuk Sippy. He has loved these since about 9 months old, and now for some reason it is ALL he will drink out of. Not the red cup, or even the green....ONLY the blue. I looked high and low for them today and nobody had them. I looked online and the blue is not available. Then...I learned that they NO LONGER MAKE THE BLUE! GASP! What to do, what to do!! Little man will make Mommies life miserable. Until I found some wonderful information from anothers mothers blog. Apparently you can order the replacesment valves from Gerber and I called them and lo and behold they HAD BLUE! I ordered 6 (even though we only have three cups) just in case this obsession lasts!! They are $2 a piece....with a minimum $5 purchase and $5 shipping plus sales tax if applicable! Call 1-800-4-GERBER if you are in the same predicament as me!!
Hopefully my little man will be over it soon. He is, after all, almost two and perfectly capable of drinking out of any other cup and straw but what can I say....he loves his "bwuuuue" cup. *sigh* the life with a toddler.
