Okay, so I may not be a soap expert, but I have reviewed a few bars of soap in my life. Really, in my opinion it all boils down to: does it smell good? Is it good for little man sensitive skin? Does it have a nice lather? And did I mention does it smell good?
Smell, for me, is the deciding factor in soap. If I do not like the smell it’s a no go for me! Beecology makes some of the nicest smelling soaps ever!! Divine. I was lucky enough to receive three bars….
The honey and lavender soap. This is very soothing to my skin and I love to relax at the end of a stressful day with this smell. It is soooo nice and an excellent choice to put me in a sleepy mood.
The Totally Hip Hemp Soap is my morning soap. It’s really cheery and smells like a bright sunshiny morning. Okay, so maybe I am going overboard, but it does smell great! It has been known to help with acne. I have not personally used this long enough to see and improvement, but it does leave my skin moisturized…and definitely does not make my acne worse!
The Honey Oatmeal Morning Peppermint soap smells so nice. It is excellent on almost all skin types and definitely gives you a little pick me up when you smell it. This one works very nice on my little man’s sensitive skin!


So, I’ve tried a lot of soaps, but one thing you will never hear me say I use a lot of is hand and body creams. In fact, I generally avoid them..and use them only if my skin gets super dry. I hate feeling greasy, and most creams leave me feeling that way. However, I received a sample of lotion from Beecology. I used it, and at first, I thought it was the typical greasy lotion. That is until I kept rubbing. Within a few seconds the lotion was fully absorbed into my hands..without any residue at all. The lotion really left me with a silky texture. I admit, I still will not be a lotion lover, but this Hand and Body Lotion from Beecology will now be my go-to lotion when my dry skin gets out of control!
