I love shoes!! Especially super cute and comfortable shoes. Being a nurse, I am always ON MY FEET. Working as a pediatric nurse in a medical clinic setting, I am probably on my feet a little more than a “normal” nurse, so I am always on the prowl for comfortable shoes as well. I was recently contacted by Alegria Shoe Shop to do a review. You can imagine how ecstatic I was about this. Comfort and Style all in one shoe!
I selected the Donna Shoe to review. This shoe pretty much offers it all! Style, Comfort, and it is stain resistant on the top and has slip proof soles. All things that we in the health care field look for in shoes!

"Designed specifically for the health care worker, the Donna has all the same features as the Classic with added features that include a stain-resistant upper and a no-slip bottom. The Donna has a combination latex and cork footbed that is designed to form to the foot. If necessary, the footbed is removable to allow space for custom orthotics, and the interior has extra depth to create a roomy fit.

The outsole is engineered to reduce heel and central metatarsal pressure, and the bottom is flat to increase stability. The rocker outsole also propels you through the gait cycle, rocking you from heel to toe in a natural motion, resulting in less tired feet and body at the end of the day."


I particularly love the fact that these shoes come in wide width, and in FUN patterns. Who says nursing shoes have to be boring? They are also cute enough that I can wear these on the weekends with a pair of jeans as well! So, I put these babies to the test this week. It was a very busy week for me..lots of hustle and bustle and activity. Did my feet hurt at the end of the day? Not one little bit. These shoes are very cushiony and comfortable! I received a load of compliments on them from coworkers, and everyone wants a pair for themselves! My coworkers particularly loved the Electric Paisley Pattern (shown) because our primary work color is purple and they match perfectly! I have to say I also love the Hearts..especially for Valentine’s Day!
