I have always had a thing for soap. I remember being a little girl, probably 5 years old and only wanting my mom to buy glycerin soap for me. In my little girl opinion glycerin soap was the only thing that smelled good, so that is what I asked for. In the years since I have spent a small fortune on soaps and still do. I also realized there are far better soaps in the world than the dollar glycerin soaps. If you look in my hall closet you will see quite the collection of soaps and my hubby even calls me a “soap hoarder” lol! We all have our thing right??

Recently I heard about Dragonfly Soaps. Of course, I had to jump at the chance to review some of their fabulous soaps. I was sent the 60s vanilla soap. Normally, I am not a huge vanilla fan but with the appeal of patchouli thrown in, it called to my inner flower child! It has some awesome oils thrown into the mix too like palm, coconut and olive to moisturize and hydrate your skin. To my nose it smells DIVINE…lathers soooo well and leaves my skin squeaky clean!

I was also lucky enough to get the women’s shave soap. I was not so sure about this soap and did not know if I would like the smell. After all, I felt they probably spend more time formulating a good lathering soap and less time working on the scent. Boy, was I wrong. This soap smells fabulous with hints of vanilla, orange, and lavender…it also lathers very well and also hydrates my skin. The shea butter leaves my skin silky smooth after a shave, which is more than I can say about any other soap I have used. It also has bentonite clay which helps the razor to slide over your skin and prevents nicks and other skin irritation.
I personally love Dragonfly Soap, and I think you will too. It smells fabulous and lathers really well..all of the things you expect out of a great soap.
