I have a little man with moderate obstructive sleep apnea. He is an EXTREMELY restless sleeper. In fact, I have never slept with anyone as restless as him. Unfortunately, each and every night he sleeps with me and we both lose so much sleep. All the wiggling and squirming makes me miserable. In fact, he is sooo restless than a few nights ago he managed to fall right out of bed. He somehow hit his mouth and gashed his head on the electrical outlet plate that he broke in the fall. It was pretty traumatizing for him and ME! You can see that it was not just a teeny tiny little fall either, it was pretty bad.

You can imagine that being a Mommy dealing with a little boy that has sooo many sleep issues; I am looking for anything to help him. I recently heard about Affordable Weighted Blankets, and this is the first I had heard anything about weighted blankets. The more that I began reading…and I was like HALLELUJAH this is the answer for us!

We received a train printed blanket for my little guy. He has been using this for naps lately (we have not used it at night yet because we are waiting to transition him to his own bed next month- his 4th birthday) and I will say that he seems to sleep much more heavily and soundly. He is not fidgety like he has been in the past, and takes a longer nap with this! The quality is amazing; it is very large and perfect for him. It’s really warm, so it will also be a great winter blanket for him and HE loves it! That is really the most important factor in my book.
