Summer! Most Moms look forward to it, but once it is here we often are counting down the days until the kids go back to school. I know I am that way. Even though little man is only in preschool- we are much less active in the summer. Yes..you heard that right. Here is the super-hot and humid Florida, many of us tend to hibernate in the summer. All of the fun things are done in the fall and winter, so these leads to stir crazy kids. Yes, we could go on vacation, and in fact we have done that this summer…but that only last so long. Even then you need entertainment and games for the kids. The bike rides little man insists on leave me drained and ready to soak up the A/C and the apartment pool is often packed. That leaves this Mom to get creative with games and activities indoors. Thankfully, I have a little man who has a pretty decent attention span, and he loves games.

Recently, we were contacted by Manhattan Toy to do a review on the busy bug count and match dominoes. I have to admit, I have never even played dominoes. So, the first time we play, I butchered the game- and we were not so into it. Then hubby came home and actually read the instructions, and now they whole family loves it. Little man gets anyone that comes over to visit to play with him, as you can see in the picture. He held his Mini-Ma hostage playing it for hours! Hey, in my book it beats getting out there in the hot sun and getting burnt, and leaves my little man just as happy and entertained. It even comes in a nifty little “bug box” for storage!

Includes 27 wooden dominoes with cute-as-a-bug illustrations for each number. These colorful dominos will provide hours of fun filled play. Tiles come in a portable bug habitat with sliding mesh window that easy to take anywhere.
