I have been watching what I eat very carefully and have been practicing portion control. I had purchased a cheapy little food scale when this began, but this thing was a total pain. I was constantly readjusting calibration on it, and even then the weight was sometimes off. I recently contacted Ozeri and they agreed to send me the Ozeri ZK011 Precision Pro Stainless-Steel Digital Kitchen Scale with Oversized Weighing Platform, and this little thing is awesome! It is all one piece so that means easy wipe down to clean. It is very sturdy and incredibly accurate. I see myself using this tons at Christmas as well. I am definitely in love with my little scale, not only is it functional, but it looks nice out on the countertop.

  1. My best weight loss tip is those pouches of starkist tuna in water. 2.6 oz, 80 calories, lots of protein. I usually mix in some salsa verde or pico de gallo or even just lemon and pepper. Great way to get a protein boost and curb hunger. Yum!

  170. What has worked for me so far is eating my dinner from a luncheon plate instead of a dinner plate! This is helping me with my portion control -- but winning this scale would be a bigger help because then I can see visually what my portions should be. After all, I won't ALWAYS be able to eat from a luncheon plate!
