A Potty that Pours!

I am currently in, and have been for quite sometime, potty training limbo. My 2 1/2 year old son is constantly teasing me on the whole ordeal. One day he will go to the potty like a champ and the next he refuses to even try. I believe that potty training is all about patience. And after already going through it with my oldest son, I know when to call it a day and just put the kid in diapers. But with that being said I am constantly looking for new things to help speed up this process. I found the coolest potty. I have around 3 potties in this house other than our toliets. With my first son the one that played music worked great. My youngest however figured out that all he had to do was stick his foot in the bowl and rub his toes over the little sensors to get it to play music so that certainly did not work with him. Haha! We have a stand up urinal we bought especially for my youngest. We thought he would want to stand like his big brother to do his business. He wasn't the least bit thrilled about it. My older son however pees in it ever chance he gets which leaves me with the mess. This particular potty is a pain to clean, and to pour out.



I recently received the Pourty Potty. This is probably one of the best ideas I've seen. This potty is so simple its ingenious. For such a simple product there are so many pros! I absolutely despise the potties that come apart in like 4 or 5 pieces. because there is always that drippage of pee on the seat and it seems that the pee gets everywhere. So this potty is perfect. Its one piece. I don't have to worry about my kid picking up the seat and wearing it as a hat. And that has totally happened in this house :)

My other favorite thing about this potty. It pours right out of the back. It is so easy. No seat to take off and little cup to carry to the potty, while trying not to spill it. And my kids like to pour it in themselves. I mean that pee is almost like a trophy to a little guy! So I love that they can pick the whole potty up and pour it in. Which brings me to the 3rd thing I love about the Pourty Potty. It's so light weight. It even has a handle in the front for carrying and pouring. This potty is the most convenient potty I've seen. And would be perfect for travel or quick trips out to town when you need a potty. Also this potty has a high splash guard which is great for little boys!

These come in 4 colors. I received the blue. But I love the purple! Also, the price on this is great. I have seen other potties that make me do a double take on price. Go here to see a list of retailers.
