We recently took a cruise to the Caribbean, and though my son has a slightly darker complexion than me, he still has pretty fair skin. This is one of the reasons I contacted UV Skinz for a review. Not only that, but we have a family history of skin cancer, and there are countless members of my family that have had to have pre-skin cancers removed. It is most important to me to keep my little man safe from something that could haunt him later in life, so we are religious about sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and UV protecting swimwear while out in the sun. UV Skinz is this fantastic company that was created when Rhonda Sparks lost her 32 year old husband to skin cancer, and then had to raise her three boys without a dad. This alone makes you stop and think and want to protect yourself and your loved ones.

We were lucky enough to receive super cool and fashionable UV Protective Clothing  from UV Skinz, and let me tell you- not only did my little man look COOL on vacation, but he also was also protected. We were out in the sun a lot on this trip- we marched around the beach, and spent time on the outdoor water park on the boat, and never once did my little man burn thanks to his UPF 50 swimwear. We had a great, enjoyable BUT SAFE time in the Bahama’s..and I have UV Skinz to thank for a lot of that. The  swim shirts can even be purchased separately, to be worn with your own bottoms.
