If you are a Mom, Swaddle Designs is a company you have probably heard of. If you have not heard of them- you should probably check them out! I know recently, my hubby surprised me with a purchase from them for our new baby- an Angry Birds kit with an onesie, blanket and small stuffed bird! Not only does Swaddle Designs offer phenomenal products, they also carry a large selection of official Angry Birds products, which makes my hubby and 4 year old very happy!

I was lucky enough to receive the Cute and Calm Swaddlelite 3 pack of swaddling blankets. These are super nice, especially for a Floridian Mom, where temperatures are sometimes way too hot to wrap an infant in a thicker blanket to swaddle! They are very lightweight, but also very large measuring 46”x46” which means not only are they perfect for swaddling, but they also make a great nursing cover as well as a great way to protect baby from the sun while in a stroller. Definitely a great, multi-purpose product!

With my son, it took me forever to learn how to swaddle, even though I had TRAINING in this in nursing school (yes, they actually teach us such things in nursing school lol) It is totally different to try to figure out how to swaddle in theory then it is when you have an actual squirmy baby. The cool thing about Swaddle Designs Swaddlelite, is that if you have a “mommy moment” and forget how to swaddle, I am telling you (if you do not have your baby yet) IT HAPPENS, the instructions are right there for you! 

As you can tell I love the Swaddlelite blankets. I can almost guarantee you will too if you are having a summer baby, or you live in some miserably hot place- LIKE Florida! There are even Swaddlelite blankets in the andry birds theme. I so wish I had seen these before I selected the adorable Cute and Calm set! It would have made my son (and hubbies) day!
