I just love family crafts.  We stay pretty busy and don't get to do a ton of them.  But when we do get the chance its always a lot of fun.  I was so excited about this product to review for my little family.  We recieved a cardboard playhouse and a cardboard Christmas tree.  The cool part about the tree is that you get to decorate it yourself.  This was so much fun with my little guys.  We also had a lot of fun with the Cardboard house.

When these boxes arrived we all were so giddy! We hauled the boxes up to the playroom and started opening everything.  We started on the Tree first. I gave both the boys a panel of the tree each and some colored pencils and foam stickers.  My boys absolutely love stickers of any kind so this was a huge hit with them.





My boys quickly got right to work decorating their trees.  It was really awesome to see them so excited about something.  Even my husband got in on it and decorated a tree.  This activity actually took us a few nights to complete.  We even broke out some paint and made hand and foot prints on the tree.  We really had so much fun with the Cascades Classico Tree.  This has probably started a new family tradition for us.  I think we will definately be ordering one of these next year.  We left the tree in our playroom to use for decoration.  This tree was made of sturdy recycled cardboard and was very easy to put together. It came with ornaments too.  We had a great time decorating those as well.  It came with stars and round 'ball' ornaments.

After we had our fun with the tree we started on the playhouse. My boys have had some of the cardboard playhouses in the past and they have not held up well.  But this one has done really great.  It is still intact and sitting in our playroom.  My oldest son uses it as a puppet show.  He had so much fun doing a show for us through one of the windows.  My youngest son took all the play food in there and kept 'cooking' for us.  They really enjoy this house.  It was fairly easy to put together. But it is a 2 person job.  I love the details included in it. Like the little flower boxes and awnings. Its really a cute little house.
