We LOVE Wikki Stix!

I just love finding new products for my boys. Especially when it is something that not only entertains but also helps develop some motor skills and creativity.  My oldest son was sick all last week with the flu and we had lots of time to just hang out at home.  When the Fedex truck dropped off the box from Wikki Stix our days were much more easier to get through.  When he wasn't sleeping we were sitting at the breakfast table bending these awesome stix!

I am always on the hunt for something that I can get my oldest to sit down and focus on because he has ADHD, and sitting still is very difficult for this kiddo.  I was very suprised to see him sit for about 40 minutes and play with the Wikki Stix.  We recieved 2 products to try out and we have seriously used them heavily over the last several days. My 3 year old also loved them!  My oldest has really poor gross motor skills and although ideally I should be sitting him down every day and making him work on cutting paper, it just doesn't happen.  It also does not hold his attention and he gets frustrated.  So these are perfect to help work those hand muscles that are so important right now.


We received the Alphabet Cards to try out.  My boys loved these.  The cards are very sturdy and will hold up to kids.  We traced out several letters with the Wikki Stix that were provided in this set.  Even my 3 year old loved to trace the letters out.  My oldest liked spelling out words with them. He is beginning to read so I love these for the short sight words.  It provides him a fun way to practice these.  We also received the Activity Set which includes 84 Wikki Stix! I love the board that is in this set.  We have created lots of fun pictures with it.  My 3 year old loves the board and has carried it around for days creating his own master pieces.

I cannot say enough positive things about Wikki Stix.  These simple stix provide so much to little hands. It's a great hands on activity that can easily be just a fun activity or a learning session.  I am currently in school, and hope to become an Occupational Therapist. And I think this is one product I will most definitely keep in stock, when I accomplish it.  These stix are also reusable so you can create so many cool things before they wear out.  I have unraveled these from the big stick ball that my youngest likes to create so many times in the past week.  Even My husband got in on the fun!  We have played with these endlessly, and are still using the same stix from the alphabet pack.  I was very surprised at how well they hold up to little hands!
