Village Candle Summer Slices Candle

I love candles and have spent large amounts of money on candles throughout my life. I have discovered some of the biggest names out there have the least scent, and even more so lately. Back in the day I would purchase these candles and have them scent a whole large room with no problem- lately, not so much.

I started looking for a candle that would provide me with that super strong scent I missed and I am so glad I found it with Village Candle! I contacted them for a review a while back, and I was thrilled when they agreed to send me a premium round candle for my review. I selected the summer slices scent because I love all summery smells, particularly fruit scents. I have been so impressed with this candle. My living room is pretty decently sized and is open to the kitchen. I really have issues getting any candle to leave a scent in this design, but my Village Candle does! I even had a roast in the crockpot yesterday and I smelled the candle more than the roast!

The Summer Slices has a terrific aroma of (mostly) watermelon, with undertones of cucumber. I just love it. It really brings summer right into my living room. The scent truly reminds me of a watermelon jolly rancher, which I love!  It also seems to burn extremely slowly. I have burned it 3 or 4 times for multiple hours each time, and it does not seem to have made a dent in the candle at all.

At only $18 for a VERY large 26oz jar candle, when other brands are MUCH MUCH more expensive- you should definitely check into them! Village Candle definitely passes my smell test, and I like them as much- IF NOT better than more comparable more expensive candles! The two wick design is very nice too because it has a cleaner burn, increases the candle burning ambiance, and more efficient because with two wicks burning, it really burns a lot of that wax in the bottom of the jar!
