With my oldest, I did not start to think about sippy cups until he was much older around 10 months old. That was mostly because he was not picky about what type of bottle he took. My youngest is extremely picky about the variety of bottles that he will take so I decided that I needed to think about sippy cups much sooner. If I do not think about them now I can see weaning him off the bottle in the future will be very difficult. Because of this, I have been trying different sippy cups with him and was recently sent the MAM Trainer for review. The mam trainer is the only bottle that my son has shown any interest in. It holds 8 ounces and is recommended for babies age 4+ months it is retail valued at 6.99, It also has handles for babies that need to learn how to become more independent. As you can see in the picture my little man loves it. He does not take to it quite as well as he does a bottle but he is definitely trying to work with it and is getting better by the day. The handles make it very easy for him to grasp, and mostly at this point we are just playing with sippy cups to get him used to them. Overall, this is a wonderful product to help your infant transition from sucking to drinking and to start weaning your baby off the bottle.
We also received two teething toys, the MAM Cooler and MAM Bite and Play Teether. The MAM Cooler is a great teething toy because it has a unique three-pronged shape which allows the teether to provide relief to the babies molars. Since my little one already has his eight front teeth it will be his molars that are coming in next, so I particularly love this design. It allows it to reach to his trouble area and soothe those inflammed gums.
The MAM Bite and Play Teether is also extremely cool and definitely one of my favorites. This teether can be frozen so it soothes teeth but it could also be a toy for baby to play with as they are teething. It is easy for my little guy to hold onto and he loves the rattling noise. I personally love anything that is multi-functional, and this being a gum soother and a toy is perfect!
