As stated on The Nurse Mommy, we are four health minded moms that like to review things that Moms who are health-conscious would be interested in. We all know, but sometimes forget, that sleep is one of the most important factors in being healthy. Recently I contacted Smart Silk and they offered to send me two pillows for review.

My oldest son has viral induced asthma and terrible allergies, in fact, the whole family suffers from seasonal allergies. Not only is the Smart Silk pillow extremely comfortable because of the microgel fiber filling and cotton outer shell but they are wonderful for allergy and asthma sufferers. These pillows offer a proven barrier called the shield advantage that ensures a cleaner and uninterrupted sleep. My thoughts: I am very impressed with the smart silk pillow! They are not so soft that you cannot get comfortable but are in my opinion, just soft enough. They do offer support of you head and neck, and provide for a comfortable nights sleep.  The fact that they defend against allergies and could potentially help with my sons viral induced asthma has definitely won me over. Because these pillows are an effective barrier against dust mite allergens and pet dander and are also resistant to mold and mildew growth definitely make them a winner in my book. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.
