Fibre craft text-UR® Foam review and giveway!

Arts and crafts is a huge thing in our home, my mom jokes but I could not be any happier then I am while I'm working with my boys on simple crafting projects. That is definitely true, I have an artistic nature to me and I love passing that on to my boys. My oldest is now six and we have been doing crafts for as long as I could get him to sit! Fiber-Craft recently sent me several crafting projects from the text-UR foam. We had a friend over and the boys really enjoyed playing with these! They are very brightly colored and the different textures add a new dimension to the projects! There are six different textures: dotty, waves, stripes, scaly, bumpy and terry cloth. 

Of course, as a pediatric nurse, I also imagined the possibilities with children with sensory problems! I think this is perfect for teachers working with special need children, or even for use with occupational therapy. However, it is a blast for children with no sensory issues, and my little boy had a fun creating!!

 The finished product is incredibly cute and I love that it comes with double-sided 3-D Space-URs that give the project a 3-D effect that also requires no additional supplies. My six year old was able to completely make the kits by himself. I had to explain the usage of the Space-URs- but once he grasped that concept, he had a blast doing this all by himself. I am thrilled that he can entertain himself for a little bit of time, and this leaves virtually no mess for me to clean up!

Right now we have not used the foam sheet kit but I have big plans for it!! Every year, we have to make a creative valentines day card holder for school and this foam sheet is totally going to serve that purpose. My little man and his buddy really enjoyed the bug shape kit. It gave them something other than wrestling to do on our play date!! My little man now has his room decorated with the Bee Standup Kit and the Turtle. He also made the flower frame for my Mom and added his photo! As you can tell, the  text-UR® Foam  was a HUGE hit in my house- for my little boy and for myself! I encourage creative play like this, and I love that it gets his head out of a television or tablet and allows him to express himself in other ways!
