NaturOli Soap Nuts are the Best Around, Win Yours!

Soap Nuts. It is a product made from nature that man has been using for centuries. Soap Nuts are actually the shell of the seed from the Soapberry nuts, and they act as a natural surfactant, and effectively wash clothes without chemicals or fragrances. Many moons ago, I tried Soap Nuts and found them to be very effective in washing my clothes...but I got busy, forgot to purchase more, and then forgot about them completely. Recently though,  I started using cloth diapers and heard about Soap Nuts being used for this. This had me intrigued and I knew I had to give them another try.

Naturoli agreed to send me a bag of Soap Nuts for review, and of course I am a happy girl. You see, you can use just 4-5 Soap Nuts can be used for a whole load of laundry, and those SAME 4-5 nuts can be used for around 4 loads of laundry. That means, you can do 16 loads of laundry with just 4-5 soap nuts! Crazy right??

You might be wondering how it worked on my cloth diapers. Using this on my cloth in conjunction with sunning them after worked perfectly. The diapers are softer (as you know you cannot use fabric softener on them but Soap Nuts being a natural softener- it works!) Although, the Soap Nuts do not completely rid of odors (no detergent I have found does this) used in conjunction with the natural deoderizer and stain reducer-the sun, this is the perfect soap for my diapers!

- Naturally anti-fungal and anti-microbial.- Hypoallergenic! - Many people have allergic reactions to detergents due to the chemicals and fragrances in them. Soap Nuts are totally free of such chemicals.- Soap nuts are extremely versatile and can be used for numerous household-cleaning needs - even glass cleaning!- Easily converted to powder or liquid forms at home.- Virtually eliminate the need, and the expense, for brighteners, fabric softeners and dryer sheets.- Naturally reduce static cling.- Highly effective, yet very gentle.- Being so mild, Soap Nuts help keep colors bright and maintain fabric structure.- Shelf life is basically endless if properly stored (simply kept dry).- Soap nuts do NOT pollute water!

We also received the Trail Size of the Extreme XL. This stuff is awesome. I used it on some of my laundry with the toughest stains and it cleaned the clothes perfectly. It has no scent, but did a fantastic job. It is basically Soap Nuts in a very condensed form. It is fantastic to be used as a car wash, works beautifully to wash baby clothes, or even your windows when diluted. This is truly a multi-purpose cleanser!
