Amber has
been used for generations as a form alternative medicine, and has tons of
proven health benefits. Not to mention that it’s cute. Baltic amber has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties make it ideal as a
natural homeopathic product for children and adults.
There are two different
thoughts as to why wearing amber on the skin can have soothing and calming
effects on teething children. One thought is that when amber is worn on the
skin, the skin's warmth releases minuscule amounts of healing oils from amber
which are then absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream. The second theory
is based on scientific findings which have shown that amber is
electromagnetically alive and produces significant amounts of organic, purely
natural energy.
You are always going to
get different views when it comes to homeopathic remedies. Do what you feel is
right for you and your child. Always be safe with these necklaces. Don’t put the baby to sleep while wearing
it as it can be a chocking risk.
I put it on fallon and
it doesn’t seem to bother her at all, which is great. She started getting her
teeth very late. She didn’t get her first one until 14 months. She was wearing
the necklace during the time that it broke. If I hadn’t looked in her mouth I wouldn’t
have known that she was even cutting a tooth. She was so calm. I remember
teething with my oldest and it was horrible every time. I wish I had one of
these necklaces back then.
My theory on if it
works or not… It’s only a few dollars that may work. Why not try it right? I
spend more money on teething gels, teething toys, Tylenol… that I would have on
a cute necklace.
While I was doing my
research on Baltic Amber I did come across some information that it helps with
migraines. I suffer from migraines a lot and since I’m still breastfeeding
(currently weaning) my options are limited in what I can take. I will be
looking into getting one for me.
I personally recommend
trying one with your child, but like I said before. Make sure you do what is right
for your situation.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't find a place to contact you, so I thought I would just post it in the comment section. I love all of your contests, and appreciate you hosting them! But, I was wondering if you could stop using the "@" sign in your automatic "Post to Twitter" contest submissions? I have had my account frozen twice due to what Twitter calls, "improper use of the @ sign". A Twitter representative explained to me that the @ sign is suppose to serve as a reply function on Twitter, and that your account can be frozen from using it in any other manner.
ReplyDeleteI do enter a lot of contests, however, that's all I do (I do not use my account for anything else). So, the problem is coming from all the contests that require the "@" symbol in their "Post to Twitter" submissions. I want to be able to keep entering, but I don't know how many more times Twitter is going to allow me to get my account frozen.
Maybe others have some advice for me? Or away around this? If not, I'd greatly appreciate it, if in future contests, you could omit the "@" symbol in the pre-written Twitter post submissions. Thank you!
