My little man has enjoyed puzzles from a very young age. He never wanted to start with the puzzles with knobs, he just wanted to jump right in to the more difficult ones. I really wish that I had discovered 3d puzzles back when he was smaller, however, even at six he still loves them!
Begin Again sent my little man the Dinosaur A to Z puzzle and we were very excited to put it together. Working together it took us about 10 minutes and did offer a challenge, so I would say that this puzzle is good for kids even a bit older than preschool age mentioned in the description. I can see where it will be completely handy with a preschooler though because it teachers the upper and lower case alphabet while playing a super fun puzzle. It being a dinosaur made it that much more enjoyable to little man. He has some issues with his handwriting so I love that this 3d puzzle is helping his with his fine motor skills and improving his dexterity some, and hopefully this will in turn improve his handwriting!
It is made of quality product and I know that I will be passing this down to many children. You can never go wrong with a wooden toy because it will last forever. I cannot wait to start working on this with my youngest in the next year or so. It is wonderful to teach colors, help with fine motor skills, and teach the alphabet as well as upper and lower case letters. It is also wonderful for creative play! Begin Again offers many really awesome puzzles, including other dinosaur puzzles. They also offer other cool and classic toys such as tops and yo yos. In today's technologically based world, it is good to take a step back and enjoy the simpler toys with your little ones!
