iPlay Training Undies, Baby Toothbrush and Cool Calm-Press WIN

I was lucky enough to already be familiar with iPlay, and their Green Sprouts line, thanks to a recent subscription to monthly goodies box company I participate in. I was pleased with the quality of their products so I was eager to review some of their other stuff.

My little D will be 18 months tomorrow (where does the time go??) and he is thankfully at that age where brushing his teeth is fun.  In fact, I have to bribe, trick or peel his toothbrush out of his hand when he is all done...ok, when -I- say he is all done. It worries me when he runs around with his toothbrush. I'm afraid he will fall. That is why I LOVE this silicone baby toothbrush. It has a safety guard to stop the toothbrush from going in too far. Yay! This Nitrosamine free training toothbrush is really soft and the it has little silicone bristles too.
I wish I wouldn't have a real reason to put the Cool Calm-Press to the test, but as luck would have it Little D's head combined with Little C's eye created a lovely black eye for Mr Frog. Thankfully, I popped it in the freezer as soon as I got it. (Do you know how hard it was to resist those frozen peanut butter cups?? But, I gave up sweets and treats over two weeks ago. I. Will. Be. Strong!) But, Little C was happy to enjoy one by proxy for his mommy.

I really like the feel of this little guy. I have a small collection of these babies for bumps and boo boos but this is by far the softest and most pliable. No rough edges or sharp corners and it molds around the body part. I love this.

Here is my Little C. :o( I really do wish it was all acting but nope. A genuine black eye.

I hesitate to say this for fear of jinxing myself, but Little C was fairly easy to potty train. Like most things we do, we sorta let the kiddos lead the way and tell (show) us when they are ready for moving or to or giving up something. He was about 2 1/2 years old and he potty trained within 10 days and that was including naps and night time!!

Little D, however, has proven to be the exact opposite in most things as his big brother. *sigh* For this reason, I am sorta fearing the potty training stage. BUT he does want to be just like his big brother so maybe that will help us.
Since we aren't exactly ready to potty train, we couldn't put the training pants to the true test but I can say I do really like them. They are super soft but feel thick enough to be absorbent without being too bulky. Little D loved running around in big boy pants. In fact, he pretty much strutted around the house in them. AND he didn't wet them?!?! Fluke or the magical powers of the training undies? Hmmmm I guess you'll have to try them out to be sure.
