I know I
have been posting a lot about gluten free products lately. I don’t have gluten
intolerance but I know how important it is to some people. To be honest, most
gluten free foods, tastes just the same.
UDI Gluten Free Foods contacted me to try out their line. I looked
forward trying everything out.
Udi Sent me
a box full of some amazing foods. Being a chocolate lover, I grabbed the
brownie bites right away, before the rest of my family could even see
everything. In the box was brine for a turkey (even though Thanksgiving is over
we haven’t used it yet, but will soon), chips, granola, muffins, brownie bites,
bagels, 2 different kinds of bread. Plus they sent 2 different platters, cute
fork and spoon and a very cute football to throw around.
Like I said
above, the brownie bites were GOOD. I couldn't even tell that they were gluten
free. My husband’s favorites were the chips. He thought they were really good. Mya
loved the bagels. We had our friend Dan over, I mean who doesn’t love free food
right? And as you can see from the picture he really liked the bagel too. I apologize for the angle of the pic. I’m laid up from having surgery so I
could’t really get up for that picture. I did however manage to make my way to the
kitchen to get some food of my own. I'm sorry for that bad pic too.
When we ran
out of the bread, Darin was very creative and used the bagel as a bun for his
cheese burger, he thought it was great. I happen to think that it was pretty genius
of him to put the two together, though I think it only happened because we were
out of bread.
My mom
couldn’t stay to share the food with but she did take home some of the granola
and said that she liked it a lot. I don’t know how the muffins were because
Darin and Fallon ate ALL 4 of them before I had any. I guess they liked them,
so that’s good.
Overall I give Udi Gluten Free a huge thumbs up. For me
living in such a small town, I didn’t think I would be able to find any of
their products near me. I was really surprised to find out there are when I used
there locator map. There are a few restaurants in town that use their products,
that’s pretty cool.
Follow them on all their social media sites for upcoming
products and great recipies. Facebook, twitter, pinterest and their site.
