Pups of the Spirit Book Review

About Pups of the Spirit:
Nine Fruits of the Spirit would normally be difficult for little minds to keep track of, but now there are nine personable pups to make it easier and more fun. For puppy lovers and kids ages 4-8 comes a clever picture book that teaches children in a creative way about God’s special attributes for his people.

My Thoughts:
My children are still of the age that they love rhyming books, and especially love colorful books! Pups of the Spirit definitely does this, so they love it. Mommy loves that this book teaches them qualities that God looks for in children such as patience, gentleness, love, joy, peace, faithfulness, self control and goodness. This book opens up a great conversation with my six year old, especially because we are having a few behavioral issues right now, especially in the self control department. This book is geared towards kids ages 4-8 but my one year old actually sat and listened to the entire thing. He may not understand the point, because he definitely enjoyed the rhymey format and the cute, colorful photos. All around I consider this book a five star for little ones!
