Annie's Homegrown Frozen Meals

If you know me personally, you know that I’m not a good cook. I tend to do very simple meals or something frozen.  Being able to throw a frozen meal in the oven is great, especially for a mom like me. I was asked by influenster to review on of Annie’s Homegrown meals. I have tried their boxed meals before so I was very interested in trying their frozen one.

I picked their Family Size Frozen Classic Macaroni& Cheese. Mainly because mac & cheese is amazing, I mean what’s not to love? You have pasta and cheese. The motto in my house is that “cheese, it’s what makes the world go round.” So you can tell we like cheese. I really like that Annie’s has done all the hard work and all I have to do is throw it in the oven and when the timer goes off take it and serve it up.

Like most moms right now, I’m invested in giving my children the best ingredients I can, and make sure they are healthy.  Annie’s takes pride in their ingredients. The macaroni and cheese is made with 100% real cheese, organic ingredients and a good source of calcium and protein. Annie’s does not use artificial flavors, synthetic colors, or preservatives. The cheese they use are not from cows that are treated with the growth hormone rBST (there is no significant difference shown between milk derived from Rbst-treated and non rBST-treated cows. They also work with trusted suppliers to source only non-GMO ingredients.

I know sometimes with frozen meals and pasta that the pasta sometimes can get overdone and gets kind of soggy. I didn’t find this was the case with the macaroni & cheese. I liked it any girls loved it. Fallon even wanted seconds and had a little left over for the next day. Even better for me as I didn’t have to make another meal. We love left overs in my house.

Annie’s has a ton of other options like lasagna, shells & white cheddar with chicken, a few others in the frozen selections. They also have a good boxed selection along with dressings and many other products. I suggest you visit your local Target and try out Annie’s Homegrown soon. We love them and will buy more at our next trip to Target.
