My first question is: Do you have pets? If you
answered yes then I have another question for you. Have any of them ever tried
to get outside and run? I have been lucky and the few times that has happened
we were able to find them right away. I just remember the helpless feeling of
the What if that came along with not finding them. I was given the opportunity
to work with PetHub on their Tag protection program and also their DNA program.
All you do is sign up and add it to the PetHub
National Recovery Database, select a Digital Pet ID Tag, then link it to you
pet. If your pet is ever lost anyone with a smart phone can scan the QR code on
the tag and it brings up your contact information (you choose what to put on
there) For me I put my phone number and email address. There is also a number
on the tag to call in case the person finding the animal doesn’t have a smart
phone. The number is 24/7 so no matter what time it is someone can help in
returning a lost animal. To see more on how it works click HERE.

I know as soon as I put it on my dog House, I felt a
lot better. He’s a big boy (about 110 pounds) and loves to run. Also if you
have more than one animal that could get outside and lost you can link all of
them to the same account and “family” webpage specifically for your pets.
As for the DNA kit, it’s pretty cool. There were two q-tip swabs that I had to rub on the
inside of the cheeks then send it in When it was ready they sent me the
electronic DNA certificate on his Genotype (no his breed. That is a separate one). "PetHub's partnership
with DDC for DNA testing provides you, the pet owner, with a method of
obtaining your pet's unique DNA record that can then be safely attached to your
pet's secure profile on PetHub.com. This process identifies 10 distinct
and unique markers that are specific to your animal (essentially a DNA
fingerprint or "paw print")." It also comes with a Tag with a QR code. It’s nice that I have both the
personalized tag and the PetProtect360 Kit. It comes with a 3 month trial of
the petHub premium Portection that includes instant scan notification with GPS
mapping & PetHub’s community amber alert system. After that you can choose
to buy the premium plan after that. Rates are very affordable for both the DNA
and the digital ID Tag.
PetHub is being very generous and is offering 2 prizes: one winner will get the DNA kit which includes a tag and the second winner will receive one of their non-personalized tags,
valued up to $17.95. Both come with a free basic account with activation. There
is no annual fee for the basic accounts. Please use the Giveaway Tools below to

What an awesome idea! I am constantly yelling for my dogs to come home. This would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteI like that it is smartphone friendly. We are moving and Layla loves to sneak out and it's great to know I would have an ID on her that could actually get her back home (hopefully this never is needed - LOL)

ReplyDeleteI like that you don't need a scanner to be able to identify the lost pet, and anyone who finds a dog, cat, etc. with one of these tags and submit the ID number. This is going to help bring more lost pets home.
ReplyDeleteit is smartphone friendly! great!
ReplyDeletei really like that they allow more than one contact number. i hate when i find an animal on the street with an i.d tag and the 1 number provided is no longer in service.
ReplyDeleteI like that its smartphone friendly and you can have more than one phone number.
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that they are digitally enabled so that if your pet is lost, the person who finds yourpet can find information and/ or track down the owner, depending on the information on the ID tag.
ReplyDeleteI really like that if you did lose your pet, you could tell people to look at its tags and scan them with your smartphone to find where it belongs.
ReplyDeleteI love taking advantage of smartphone technology to keep pets safe
ReplyDeleteI like that you can have Multiple emergency contacts.
ReplyDeletelike that you don't need a scanner to be able to identify the lost pet :)
ReplyDeleteI like that you can use a smartphone to scan the tag and can then pull up all needed information.
ReplyDeleteHi! What a great & convenient idea!! I like that they have so many choices of tags. It's so cool that they have NBA team tags!!

The thing I like most about the Pet Hub tag is that if the user does not have a QR reading device, they can call in to the 24/7 Lost Pet call center that is offered on many of the tags, or manually enter in the web address that links directly to the pet’s profile.
ReplyDeleteI entered the Hapari swimwear giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like best about the ID Tag is that you don't have to take the lost animal to a vet or police station to scan it and contact the owner.
ReplyDeletei rally like it is smart phone friendly
