Tasty Brand Fruit Snacks and Cookies

Like all kids, my boys just love snacking. Lately I have noticed that my oldest child is starting to act up, and not seem to be able to control some of his impulses. Having a friend with a son with sensory processing disorder, the first thing I decided to do was cut out red dyes, since that has helped her family tremendously.

Cutting out red dye is actually a huge deal and a big endeavor. If you haven't already, just step in your pantry and look at your kids snacks. I'm willing to be over 50% are filled with red dye. It is really sad that in America, it is OKAY to load our kids up with these chemical laden foods, and we do it without realizing the ramifications of it!

Needless to say, I jumped at the chance to review Tasty Brand Snacks. We received several flavors of the fruit snacks and the cookies. The bags are cookies are perfect size snacks for my toddler and the fruit snacks are just DELICIOUS. The entire family loves them! I find myself eating as many as my boys do when we open a pack. In my book nothing beats the no red dye factor, but there is also no high fructose corn syrup which is wonderful.

We are able to enjoy snacks good for the whole family with Tasty Brand, and we no longer have to worry about what kind of effect it is having on my children's body. I am thoroughly impressed with tasty brand, and will be purchasing more. I love that the cookies are wrapped in smaller portion sizes because it makes it perfect to throw in the diaper bag and go!
