"Husband and wife entrepreneurs Dan and Angie Bastian founded Angie’s Popcorn in 2001 as a family-run, outdoor vendor operation selling Angie’s classic Sweet & Salty kettle corn recipe. Today, Angie’s has increased in sales and popularity, moving the operation from outdoor festivals and events to a production facility with expanded distribution. Angie’s newest flavor, Boomchickapop Sweet & Salty, joins a lineup of Sea Salt, Lightly Sweet, White Cheddar and Caramel & Cheddar Popcorn Mix. Angie’s is distributed to 50 states and found in locations that include Costco, Target, Super Target, Whole Foods and regional grocery stores nationally, as well as in co-ops, health food stores or ordered online. I am so in love with it, that I had to do a search to find out where I can purchase it. Thanksfully, it is available at a Target not far from home, so it will definitely be on that shopping list! The great thing about Angie's is that throughout the month of April, you can pick up some seeds to grow your own "popcorn!"
I was thrilled to received a couple packets of seeds in my box of popcorn. We had just started a garden when this came in so I quickly added it to the other seeds. I am proud to report that my seeds are already sprouting!
"Throughout April, consumers can pick up limited quantities of untreated, non-GMO, popcorn seeds in select stores where they purchase Boomchickapop products. They can also visit www.growsomeboom.com to order seeds online. It’s all in an effort to give consumers the chance to test their green thumbs and grow (and ultimately pop and enjoy) their very own Boomchickapop popcorn at home."

I have to check this out. It seems lately that ALL corn is GMO......what a relief to find something that isn't. The White Cheddar sounds out of this world!
