Have you ever lost that plastic changing pad that
comes with the diaper bag? I know I have. I forgot it at a hotel while we were
on vacation and didn’t notice until we had checked out and I needed it later
that day. No use calling the hotel and driving back for it. Daddy & Co
asked if I would try out their disposable diaper changing pads. I of course
said yes as since I no longer had the plastic one, I had just been using a
receiving blanket to change one when out and about.
The first time we used the changing pads, they were
a life saver. Like I said above I had just been using a receiving blanket. The
downside to using one is that I had to wash it all the time. With the
disposable pad I can just throw it in the little bag I use for dirty diapers in
and just throw it away in the garbage all together.
For simplicity sake I put a few of the changing pads
in a ziplock bag and add it to our diaper bag. That way they don’t get torn or
dirty from the other items in the bag. If I use one during that trip I just
replace it as soon as I get home so that I don’t run out and are stuck with
nothing during the next outing.
Each box is an affordable $7.95 and includes 10
changing pads. That comes out to 79 cents for each changing pad, not bad at all
in my opinion.
