Have you ever bought one of those Entertainment
books full of coupons for your area? My apartment manager would give one every Christmas
to us and we used them all the time. I forgot about them after I didn’t live
there anymore. I was asked to check out their digital “book” that you can use
anywhere not just in your home area.
Just like any phone app, it’s easy to download and
set up a user name and password and you’re good to go. Once you sign in it uses
GPS to find your location and gives you the deals based on where you are. The
app is available on iTunes and Google play.
Most people think that the entertainment book is
mainly fast food coupons or restaurant deals. It’s much more than that. You can
get deals like 50% off rooms at resorts, rental cars and even plain tickets and
more.
I think it’s a great deal for only a few bucks. I
mean even if you only use a handful of coupons the entire year, it would pay
for its self, so why not try it. You can also sign in on a computer to look at
deals.
I did find that you can’t just show the deal on your
screen to get the discount; you have to print it out. So, if you are out and
about and want to eat and use one, it wouldn’t work, but if you know ahead of
time where you are going and print it in advance then you are fine. I’m trying
to get into the habit of looking before we leave the house. Every dollar saved
is great. I put it on my daughter’s phone as she is with my mom a lot and if
they can get a deal, why not.
You could even give a code as a gift. It’s
graduation time; this would be perfect for a high school student making the
transition to collage life.
