Kohls Summer 2014 Collection

I was recently sent a gift card to review some of the summer styles at one of my favorite stores, Kohl's. I loved being able to shop and try on the items that I wanted for review. The $100 gift card I received went a long way and provided me with an entire outfit including shoes, nail polish and undergarments, and I still had $13 left over!

The first item I purchased is the Daisy Fuentes Surplus Maxi Dress! I absolutely love this dress. It fits generously (I purchased a medium when I normally wear a large) and it is so light and pretty! It is perfect to throw on to go shopping on the weekend, or to dress up for a nice dinner. It is extremely comfortable too! Perfect for these hot Florida summers! I have washed it a few times, and it has held up nicely, and remain relatively wrinkle free. I also think it is very flattering to my figure which is important after having two boys and a c-section. It hide my tummy well! I bought this for $42, which is a great price for an easy decision of what to wear in the closet. No matching tops and bottoms needed.

The Mud Fisherman Sandals were on sale for $8!! YES! $8! They are so comfortable and cute! I love how they accent the dress, and after wearing them all day, they are just as comfortable as they were when I put them on.

This beautiful bracelet which says that Angels are watching over me is a beautiful addition to most outfits. Since MOST of my summer clothes are maxi dresses, I think this looks great with them. It adds a touch of class and bling, without being over the top. It is just a very casual piece. This was also on sale for $8. I cannot find this bracelet online but I did see similar bracelets which are just as lovely.

The Elle Polish in Kiwi Bikini is perfect for summer! It is almost a nude shade, but offers just a small hint of color which makes it beach ready, just like your favorite bikini (or tankini in my case!) I applied it the day I purchased it and it stayed chip free for about 4 days, and I am HARD on my nails. As a nurse, I wash my hands all the times, and having boys means I am rough housing a lot too.

As I mentioned I also got a pair of panties and a lounge type bra. The panties were $3, and the bra only $6. Seriously, Kohls has some of the best deals around!! As I mentioned I only spent $87 on all of this, AND I received $10 Kohls Cash! That means that I have another $23 to spend when I go back. I guess I can use that to purchase the SUPER cute boho shirt I was eyeballing! I know most of you have HEARD of Kohls, but if you have not visited in a while, you should! The styles  available for this summer are AMAZING, and the prices are right. I saved over $100 off of retail prices!  I am personally in love with the Daisy Fuentes styles but I was also eyeballing some super cute Jennifer Lopez outfits and even jumpers which seem to be all the fad this year. Go see for yourself!
