Lulu Avenue

Until recently I had never heard of Lulu Avenue. I’m so happy that I now know of the company. Lulu Avenu is an affordable luxury line of jewelry. I was asked by them to review a necklace and set of earrings. When I saw the set, I knew right away that it would be perfect for my mom and I said yes right away.

I was sent their fleur de mer charms (which you can get hoops to make them into earrings) and also their panton necklace. They came in a really cute box and in a mesh bag. Some people look past packaging, I do for the most part as well, but I also notice when packaging is really done well.

Since I was giving the items to my mom, I asked her to come over. She had no clue why she was coming over but did anyway. She loved them even before she put them on. Ironically enough, she was wearing colors that went perfect with the set. Since the charms didn’t come with the hoops, I use my own. I have some on hand in case something happens to mine and I need a replacement. Times like these, it’s nice to be prepared.

She said that the earrings were a little heavy but not the heaviest she’s worn. It could also be, that she hasn’t worn earrings in a long time. So there is that. I really liked how the earrings looked on her. The color is beautiful, and the crystals sparkled. On a side note, these are plated in metal, so if you have an allergy to that I would be careful.

The necklace hung at just the right length and the different shades of blue really go well together. The only thing that I noticed is that one of the jewels turns over once in a while. Nothing major, but just something I noticed.

The two pieces together come to $138. It’s a little steep, but the colors go well with so many things that you will definitely get good use out of it. I recommend checking out their look book to see if anything stands out that you just must have.
