This past week was difficult for me. I had a lot going on in
my personal life and I went away from the Nutrisystem diet more than I should have.
There are enough people out there that have told me to stay on the diet. Trust me;
I’m beating myself up more than anything. Why did I stray? Craving, wanted to, I
don’t know. I can sit here and make up excuse after excuse as to why I ate
other foods, but that’s all it will be; an excuse. Instead of sitting here and
having a poor me moment about how I ate the wrong foods, I’m going to own up to
it and change it.
I started today as a new day, and I’m going to take
everything a day at a time. There is no “I’m going to try”, it is I’m going to
get to the YMCA and do my aqua therapy. I bet it will help me feel better about
myself.
This next week I will be eating the same as the past couple
weeks as far as timing. I am proud of one thing. I have done very well in
drinking water. That has been one of my weaknesses. I never drank enough. Now I
use a blender ball cup and fill it with ice and water and just keep drinking it
throughout the day. Here is the eating schedule:
Breakfast: NS breakfast with a
power fuel like milk, cheese or 1 egg…
Snack: power fuel
Lunch: NS lunch with a smart carb like fruit
Snack: power fuel and smart carb
Dinner: NS dinner
Dessert: NS dessert
Snack: power fuel
Lunch: NS lunch with a smart carb like fruit
Snack: power fuel and smart carb
Dinner: NS dinner
Dessert: NS dessert
I weighed myself yesterday and I didn’t lose any weight and
by God’s graciousness I didn’t gain any either. So I’m the same as I was last
week with 6 pounds lost total since 4/7. Even though I didn’t lose this week, I
still learned a lot. I learned that we are all human and we make mistakes, when
we realize that we can make the correct changes to make the next day better.
