Build A Bear

We don't live near a Build a Bear anymore though I wish we did. I was given a gift card to make a bear. This is Fallon's first one so it was even more special for her.

Since we aren't near a store, we ordered online. She has a bunch a big animals so we opted for a smaller one. Even though we picked out an octopus, we still call it a baby for simplicity. Build a Bear has a great line of buddies that are the smaller ones. They are perfect for throwing in the diaper bag and for little cuddles during the day.

Ordering is very simple and user friendly. First you choose your animal then all the extra fun stuff like clothes. Fallon's "baby" couldn't go without an outfit so we got her a purple tutu.

Some animals you can order a sound to put in it like an "I love you". The little buddies don't have that option, just so you know. Also make sure you look at little buddy clothes instead of the regular animal clothing.

Once you have everything you want then checkout. I love that more and more online stores are giving you the option of paypal. Not only is it very safe and secure, but also easy especially if you don’t have you card by you to get the numbers off.

Shipping was very fast. I think we received the "baby" in a week or maybe even a little less. She didn't come pre dressed, so Fallon had fun putting the tutu on her.

Build a Bear isn't just for girls or young kids, you can make one for anyone. I actually had a friend make me one while I was pregnant with Fallon to help cheer me up since I was so very sick. It was very sweet and I love Starry.
