Imagine Cloth Diapers

I am so excited about having another little boy to put in cloth diapers! I have been slowly building a cloth stash for him over the last few months.  I cloth diapered my second son and I fell in love with the fluffy bum! This time around I plan on using more prefolds than pockets or all in ones.  Using prefolds will be completely new to me, but it looks fairly simple. Imagine Baby Products sent me some of their prefolds to try out.  I was so excited when they made it to my mailbox.  I was expecting 1 or 2 to try out, but they sent me 6! They have 3 different kinds of prefolds and I got to try all of them! 

I have not mastered any of the actual folds using these yet.  I have mostly planned on folding them and placing them in diaper covers and securing them that way.  But we will see which way works best for my little guy when he gets here.  I was sent 2 of the bleached prefolds, 2 of the unbleached, and 2 of the bamboo prefolds.  I prepped these just as described on the website. They need to be washed at least 3 times prior to use to help in the prepping process. I did this and I took some before and after pictures of the shrinkage. The first time I ever purchased prefolds I did not know that they would shrink.  I thought I messed them up right off the bat.  Luckily, now I know different! All of these prefolds are very soft and feel so amazing after being washed. 

These prefolds fit so well inside of the diaper cover that I had.  I was pleased with how it fit inside. I was sent size small in the prefolds.  I have chunky babies, so at first I was a little iffy on whether I should even get smalls.  But I have a friend who told me to use the ones he outgrew as doublers for nap time or bedtime.  I thought that is a great way to get more usage out of these! Imagine makes 4 different sizes in their prefolds so you can get the best fit for your baby.  I love this about them, because when I first started looking into using prefolds I had no clue what size would be the best to start with.  There is a great chart to go by on their website.  

I personally purchased a few things from Imagine Baby Products, and I love all of them so far too! I purchased 2 diaper covers, a pail liner, and a newborn fitted diaper.  I cannot wait to use all of my Imagine Diapers with my newest little addition.  I am so excited about trying these awesome prefolds out.  You can keep up with Imagine Baby Products on Facebook and find out about all their new products!
