Johnson's Baby

Johnson’s Baby has been around for as long as I can remember. I used their products on my 11 year old and I also use them on my almost 2 year old. I was very excited when Johnson’s Baby asked if I wanted to do a review on part of their line. I couldn’t wait to try something of theirs that I may not have tried before.

They sent me 6 products; Baby Oil, Soothing Vapor Baby Bath, Baby Bedtime Lotion, Baby Powder, Baby Oil Gel and Kids No More Tangles.

I am trying to use Essential oils a lot in my home right now. We have started a routine with lavender and spraying it in Fallon’s room to help her sleep better. I also try putting some on her body to help as well. I dilute it with regular oils, much like baby oil from Johnson’s  Baby. I just put a drop of essential oil and some baby oil and start giving Fallon a massage. It works great to calm her and to keep her skin hydrated.

At one point or another you baby is going to get a stuffy nose. It is no fun and they get so miserable. JOHNSON'S^® Soothing Vapor Baby Bath is enriched with rosemary, eucalyptus, and menthol-ingredients known for their aromatherapy benefits. In a warm bath, this gentle cleanser provides comfort for your baby. Just so happens that we have had a cold going through our family recently and of course the baby got it. I have never used this product before so I was really wondering if it would help or not. After I put it in the water the aroma started to fill the bathroom. It smelled so good in there and actually stayed in there for a while after the bath was over. I think it really did help as she wasn’t as stuffy. I gave her a bath more often that I usually do as I wanted to kick the cold in the butt. I really recommend using it for even a few days after a stuffy nose ends to just help in general. 

Babybedtime lotion is a great way to end a day especially if you don’t want to use oils. It is formulated with NATURALCALM^™ essences, a special blend that releases soothing aromas. This gentle baby lotion is great to use as an after-bath moisturizer or for your baby's massage as part of her nightly routine. We tried it a few nights instead of the baby oil and it worked really nicely. I know I will be putting some in a small bottle and including it in the overnight bag.

I was never in the practice of using baby powder, I don’t know why, I just wasn’t. Since I received a bottle of it I figured I would give it a chance. Baby Powder helps to eliminate friction while keeping skin cool and comfortable. It's made of millions of tiny slippery plates that glide over each other to help reduce the irritation caused by friction. I tried it out on Fallon and I have to say, I really like it.  I don’t use a lot and it really makes things nice, especially after a bath.

Baby OilGel is another one of Johnson’s baby products that I hadn’t tried before. This concentrated gel form provides extra moisturization to help nourish and protect your skin from dryness. JOHNSON'S^® Baby Oil Gel locks in up to 10 times more moisture on wet skin than an ordinary lotion can on dry skin. To be honest, it was something to definitely get used to using and remember that I have it since it wasn’t part of our routine. Now that I have it I will be using it more often.

Lastly I received the no more tangles detanglingspray. I used to use this all the time on Mya when she was little. She has such thick hair that it was a must have for us. I don’t really need to use it on Fallon since her hair is so fine but I’m glad I have it again since it still works great for Mya.

I think one of my favorite things about baby skin products is that they smell so good, so fresh. I know it’s not possible that I’m the only one that likes that. I also like the fact that us adults can use them as well. I have use them before when I didn’t realize that I was out of shampoo and I was already in the shower What is your favorite thing about them?
