Pocket Swank mobile device accessory subscription box

I know I have talked a lot about subscription boxes and how much I love them. I have never tried one that is geared more toward electronics. PocketSwank asked me to check theirs out, and we all know I love me some electronic toys, so I of course said yes.

PocketSwank is a new company that is set to launch later this summer. Each box will consist of phone/device accessories and other cool items that you normally wouldn’t see. The price point of boxes is $35 including free shipping and the value of each box is roughly $42 dollars give or take of course.

In my box i received the following items:

I am absolutely petrified of spiders, but I will let the name slide. This thing is really cool. I don’t really know what to call it to describe it but you can contort it in so many different ways to fit what you want to do. It will work with any smartphone and GPS on the market. You can attach it to the vent in the car, or position it on a table vertical or even horizontal so it’s at the right angle for doing what you need to do. I didn’t even know something like this even existed, I’m so glad I was given this. The black retails at $25.

I love reusable bags for groceries that are not cheap plastic that you get for free at the store. The Baggu holds 2-3 plastic bags worth of items and holds up to 50 pounds. It comes in a cute little 5” by 5” pouch that you can fold back up and put into so you can carry it with you.  When fully open it is 15.5” by 25.5” high and 6” deep. I love it and the style I received is super cute. The best part for me is how small it folds down into and how much it can really hold. The bags retail for $9

I have seen lock laces before but have never used them. I think they are super cool and are an awesome alternative to regular laces and Velcro. It’s hard for me to tie shoes right now, nearly impossible with my hip the way it is and these are a god send. All you do is lace them up, cut the extra, then place the clip and lock them and they are good to go. This would be perfect for runners and other athletes as you don’t have to worry about them getting untied.  Lock Laces retail for $8

Overall I really liked the PocketSwank box. I think it’s a great idea and a great way to get new accessories for the gadgets you use everyday. The price point is great and you get to find new things and not have to actually go to the store and look for them. If you are into accessories I highly suggest you follow PocketSwank on facebook and check back for their official launch later this summer.

  1. I am so NOT tech savvy. My son tells me all the time that I need to get with the times. I don't have a smartphone, etc. But my son would love this! And it would make a great gift.
